Hate the date separators. Please get rid of them they are pointless and just take up space.
Simple. Just get rid of the date separators.

The date field for both sent and received emails for the current day is populated with the word "Today" instead of the actual date! This is a major problem when printing an email for my records..the date is missing!!!

Found a solution! If you are using Google Chrome, download the Stylebot extension. Once you have it installed, open Yahoo Mail. Click the CSS icon in the Chrome toolbar -> Open Stylebot...
Paste the CSS below into Stylebot and hit Save. Hit Cancel and then close Stylebot.
div[data-test-id="time-chunk-separator"] {
display: none;
}
.p_a {
position: inherit;
}
div[data-test-id="message-group-view"] {
position: absolute;
}
input[aria-label="Search box. Find messages, documents, photos or people"] {
position: absolute;
}
.select ul {
position: absolute;

I should be able to turn off the date group headers. They just take up space. The old version was much better. I get that you want to improve the UI, but how does removing a feature do that? In addition, I'm now paying $15 more per year for added annoyance, not added convenience.

I strongly endorse the opinion stated here that the date separators should be made optional. Some people may like them. Clearly, some people absolutely hate them. You can please everyone by including a simple option in Settings.
The problem, from my view, is that they take up valuable screen space and don't give me any information I didn't know already.

I wish this problem had a fix yet. I was just forced to upgrade to the New Yahoo despite being totally happy with my previous set-up, and my code to get rid of the date separators stopped working. I can now only see three emails where I used to be able to see nine. It's so annoying, if I want to know when an email was sent I'll just turn my eyes a little bit to the right and look at the date over there. Don't chop up my inbox so awkwardly for no decent reason. It shouldn't be that hard to just give us the option to turn them off?

God, are the date separators dumb. If I can't get rid of them, I'm moving all my email to Gmail or at least another mail client. We've been complaining about this for years, Yahoo.

Please, please get rid of these date separators. Visually, they add clutter and confusion to the page, and take up too much space.
Alternatively, make them optional. That shouldn't be hard to implement.
Thanks.

All of a sudden my emails started grouping by date. It is more than exceedingly annoying!! With the ads at the top of the screen, and the dang group separators, I can only see around 2 to 3 emails at a time on my phone. PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO TURN THIS GROUPING FEATURE OFF!!!

Agree with Aaron! They unnecessarily take up real estate. There should be a setting so users can turn date separators on or off. Please provide this option!

Agree completely with adding this option. Yahoo mail keeps getting worse and worse. Will probably leave soon after having it for over a decade.

Please allow an option to remove date separators. I know this idea has been reviewed in the past, but the admins never leave a reply as to why they continually ignore this simple request. You don't even have to delete them, just give people an option!
