Always include an option to stop something.
Right this week you are constantly asking me to send holiday greetings. Constantly. No option to stop it. Privacy issues arise in my mind -- no, I don't want you to have friends/family emails. Also, I can think of a dozen reasons why I don't need your help with this task.
