How can we improve New Mail?

New Yahoo email is nonfunctional, please return to the old version

New Yahoo email is nonfunctional. I have NOT been able to use my email since the "mandatory" switch, last week. If I didn't have so much business related emails stored in my Yahoo email, I would just get rid of this service altogether. This is truly sad....seeing that I have been using yahoo for close to 20 years....I have never been this dissatisfied with Yahoo EVER....until now

    Go back to old format. Nothing here of merit. It is an abortion. Fire everyone involved and everyone who hired them.

    Each "new" yahoo mail keeps getting slower and more unresponsive.
    Scrap this version, fire the design team and start afresh. Aim for fast & simple layout. There is a reason providers like gmail are more popular

    Can't switch back to classic because the settings button is unresponsive!

    Please take me back to the old system, this new one is RUBBISH!!!!! Deleting often does not work, and I cannot seem to create new folders..

    you can improve new mail by changing it to the previous version with some simple ideas but without adding complicated worthless options
    it's slower, more reading errors, it needs to be refreshed most of the time

    WTF don't you people see what a mess you made here? Thousands and thousands of yahoo mail users are ready to just say f--- you and go else where. Every little section and every part of that sucks big time. Just swallow your pride and admit this is f----- up. Everything I do NO its everyone on yahoo mail has multi problems and not a small issue that can be fixed in a timely and effective manner its a BIG PROBLEMS and its going to take forever to fix this if you can. When and how much is it going to take for these stupid ***** to understand at this pace, non support, suffering from us, and no help in site, we will all be done with it.

    Inform user they're installing a beta version. If I am testing your product I expect to be compensated for my time. For example CASH or NO ADs obstructing the viewing of my emails.

    seriously.. this is getting worse and worse... are experimental monkeys doing programming and upgrades now? ... this version is ridiculous .. every other day there is a new problem that seems to crop up .. seriously .. someone is smoking ***** it seems.. emails from several months back are not accessible ...why?

    Please - after I read an email and want to save it and go back to my email list, it opens a tab at the top of the main mail page for each email I do this with. By the end of the day, there are several tabs there for email I don't need a tab to look at. Based on the feedback on this site, it seems like the majority of the users hate the new Yahoo email format. Why not be CUSTOMER DRIVEN and give us the choice whether we actually want to use the new format or not?

    Your new mail sucks, and it doesn't even do that well!!! How do I go back to the old version? You can't even block someone anymore...

    Speed up so we can type more than 2 words per minute!!!! Has anyone in your tech team even tried using the mess you all created with your "new and improved" version?

    Switch back to Yahoo Classic. Yahoo New Mail is a very bad design, very inconvenient, it is awful. It is a very good reason to leave Yahoo altogether.

    Hardly any screen area remains for email reading. There is no advantage for the new layout. The entire thing is worse than the prior version. Very disappointing. I may have to dump my yahoo email account if this is not fixed quickly.
