I don't use my inbox to find new products. I am literally NEVER going to turn off adblock for any site, pls stop asking me to white list. I would rather switch to another email than have to see a million stupid ads in my inbox.

They just need to ad the do not show me this message again box, I do not care for ads I have ad blockers and dvr's so I do not have to sit through the fear mongering of big pharma and the low self esteem bottom feeders that is everyone else.

I couldn't open my e-mails for months as you blocked them in many browsers for no reason. Everything works fine, don't ask me for not using adblocker as I even couldn't use the service without any warnings, and I am not interested in any of your paid pop-ups! Don't spam me, I won't change my browser, deal with it. By the way, even you should change your loudmouthed and useless support as well.

White listing 3rd party ads is not acceptable unless Yahoo takes the time to review every single ad that may show up on the page and certifies that they are safe.
Every 3rd party ad has the chance to be infected with malware and viruses. They are a common vector for such security intrusions.
Blocking those ads prevents the infection vector and is not something I will ever stop doing unless the site in question quality control reviews said ads with a legal disclaimer certifying the ads displayed on the site are virus and malware free.
That way, should anyone actually get an intrusion via one of those 3rd party ads, there is actually a recourse to take for lost data, ID, etc. due to the intrusion.

Extend this to internet explorer. Otherwise, stop prompting me to go whitelist.

Everybody is saying the same thing, so listen to it!
I am running an ad blocker for a reason, so I'm sure not going to turn it off just because an advertiser asks. And asking for me to allow ads by pretending that it will "optimize my email experience" is just a sad and disrespectful sales tactic. We are smarter than that. Don't stoop to that level.
Sorry that nobody uses your search engine anymore and your media service crashed and burned horribly, but find a different way to make your money or shrink the company. You are working hard to drive away what little remaining business you have.

Purpose of having Adblock in the browser is to avoid ADVERTISEMENT. Yahoo mail asking me to whitelist Yahoo mail, beats the purpose of having the extension in the first place. If you make it mandatory, or keep perstering, then it will be time to permanently get rid of Yahoo mail.
Go make your money somewhere else. -

A rather annoying pop up, pretty sure that everyone who runs ad blocker doesnt like adverts and things popping up.

You guys have lost me on this one. How can I go in to check my personal emails and be bombarded with ads, not just on the side of the page but when scrolling through my actual emails. Give it a break monetization of space should not outweigh actual user experience. It's actually quite hindering, and annoying.
I have had my yahoo account for as long as I can remember, but I will pull out of it over the next year. I would much rather go to gmail or even outlook than give you my business.

I have ad blocker for a reason. I can always switch to another email that WON'T demand that I whitelist it.
