I can just imagine the sniveling little **** at Yahoo that pitched a clever plan to annoy long time mail users -- purporting my browser "settings" were interfering with Yahoo mail. Here's a thought. Anyone clever enough to install an ad blocker isn't going to fall for your false narrative.

Having ads is a major annoyance, which is why I use an ad blocker. Now, Yahoo spams me with their own pop-up add telling me to disable the ad blocker because it "could be interfering with Mail features". The e-mail works just fine, always has. We all know the only "features" it "interferes" with are the advertisements. Yahoo, if you have to resort to annoying the **** out of your customers at the behest of your money donors even after those customers have already taken active steps to stop your first attempt at annoying them, then you are too far sold out for me. Annoying your customers is a terrible business strategy - IT NEEDS TO STOP. I've been using Yahoo for over 15 years, and this is a deal breaker. If this doesn't change, I'm done.

And this right here, ladies and gentlemen at Yahoo, is why Gmail is superior. Always has been and always will be. The only reason I still waste my time on your stupid email "service" is because I have a legacy account that I'm simply using as a digital storage tank.

Agreed. I couldn't give a **** about you wanting to flood my email with ads, clogging my bandwith and preventing me from reading my mail, which is the only reason I'm there to begin with. As if I care about doing anything other than reading my mail! I will NEVER whitelist Yahoo on my ad blocker, so stop trying. Better yet, GET RID OF THE ADS.

I installed the ad blocker to eliminate annoying ads when all I want to do is check my email. Whitelisting yahoo mail and allowing ads is the complete opposite of why I installed it in the first place. If I want to watch ads, I'll turn on network/cable TV. I'm thinking about switching to a google email. I read they don't have this problem.

I am not in the least interested in your ads. Your annoying begging to let you show them to me is disheartening to a yahoo user of over 18 years.

Yahoo: "It appears you have ad blocker on."
Me: "Really? I had no idea!" *Sarcasm*
Yahoo: "In order to have the best experience, you should let me give you ads!" :)
Me: "Yeah, I'll get right on that." *More Sarcasm* -

Stop demanding whitelist everytime I open the inbox. Let us decide what we want, not you.

Stop shoving "helpful" reminders in my face to whitelist yahoo mail. I have software installed to prevent the annoying practice of auto-run video advertising from playing. I have no intention of whitelising any company for that reason and resent the constant nagware pop-up "helpful" suggestion box.
