How can we improve New Mail?

Yahoo Iphone Email App has more contacts than online Yahoo Mail program... can not access app contacts

For some strange reason I can not download my entire contact list that shows in my Yahoo app. My Yahoo website email program contact shows 450 contacts while my app shows at least three times that amount and can not access them at all.... nor can I download them. The website email contacts only downloads 450 .... I need all of them on my Iphone... Please help
