When you have a setup that works - as you did a couple of years ago - DON'T CHANGE IT!
Awhile back you decided to change your entire email setup. Maybe a year or so ago? It seems like an very long time.
I have no idea why on earth you decided to do this. There was very little wrong with what you had, but you started to monkey with it. Almost everything that you redid, you broke, and made it worse. You made things less user friendly. You made things less reliable. You made clear things obscure. You screwed up your spam filters which were among the best around - almost never allowed spam through to the Inbox. You took a fantastic attachment-photo viewer and turned it into a kluge.
If you ever get THIS remake into something that appears to work for most users, LEAVE IT ALONE!
I've just been through the 1st 100 of your feedback list, and, I have to say, most of them are simply elementary design requirements when you're not interested in screwing over users for the sake of .. what? - I don't know. But, for example, expanding line height when you increase font size is a no-brainer, and there are many, many more of these. Get some intelligence, folks! It's widely available!
And, yeah, I know, there are a lot of browsers out there, and a lot of screen resolutions, and all that, but if you can't handle this kind of heat, then quit messing with it! Keep It Simple, Stupid!
Thank you for your attention.
