I am NOT going to turn off my ad blocker, I will go to another email provider first. AND I am NOT going to pay Yahoo for "Mail Pro". You have let my email be bombarded with spam, offering me hotties from all over the place and pow to have a stronger erection. Guess what yahoo, I AM A WOMAN AND HAVE BEEN ONE FOR ALMOST 70 YEARS!

The "Whitlist Yahoo" pop-up is no more than another unsolicited notification. I use Opera with default ad blocker settings, but it doesn't seem to block this irritating "Ad" to whitelist Yahoo.
How do I permanently block unwanted Yahoo popups/ads?

I also have same problem. Using Windows 7 64-bit, mozilla firefox, with my antivirus integrated pop-up blocker allowing yahoo.
I have noticed frequent virus/trojans.etc... within the ad, so my antivirus is blocking them.
But then what does yahoo care?I suspect is part of why yahoo is so slow now. Whitelisting yahoo is one thing, but allowing harmful software through is something else! Otherwise I have done all the help page says, but I still get the message to turn off/allow yahoo through.

This is total ****. I white listed this, I turned of ad blocker, I even tried other browsers. I get this again and again. This is what happens when you sell out your principles for cold hard cash. OBTW Edge IS the latest browser despite what you think.

I have also turned off my ad blocker on all pages on the yahoo domain, and there is the green light to say that ads are not blocked on my yahoo emails, yet every single day, I'm asked to turn off my adblocker.
So now, because of the annoying and distracting ads and the annoying as well as the distracting daily message from Yahoo to turn off my ad-block, I'm going to turn my ad block back on.

I'm having the same problem and it's very annoying. Y!Mail has been whitelisted!
Using: AdBlock, Windows 10, Firefox and Chrome.
By the way, it's the same outcome whether I disable or remove the adblocker, and using AdBlock Plus as well -

Here's proof Yahoo is gathering info on all their users. I have just had a bad experience with YAHOO and am convinced that they are engaged in Data Mining like Facebook for ADVERTISERS through Yahoo's PURCHASES popups telling me what I bought and how I could save money by clicking on that Yahoo popup to see how.
Now you feel by asking what OS and Browser we use will help you? Yeah, help you in pinpointing how to invade further. -

Ad blocker turned off for Yahoo and whitelisted. Still getting notification. Cannot see mail. Yahoo is pointless and literally unusable like this.

I AM USING "AD REMOVER" AND I AM NOT DELETING IT! YOU (YAHOO) HAS ENTIRELLY TOO MANY POP UPS AND WAY TOO MANY ADDS. I PAY $39.99 A YEAR FOR THIS SERVICE AND IT IS SO WORTH IT TO ME. BUT I DO WISH THAT YAHOO NOTICE WOULD GO AWAY

do you want me to stop using yahoo mail?
because you are making in next to useless with the constant pop ups.I follow your instructions but the popups persist. I turn off adblock and your stupid pop ups wont go away.
If you want us to leave then just tell your users.
Suck less at your job.
