What's with all the invasive adds? There are many more free email services out there give me an excuse not to move to another

I would blame it on the ads that redirect you to a site warning the user that they potentially have a virus, which can be annoying even if no virus is in the computer nor is the site installing one. At this point, we use blockers to avoid it. Not that I endorse the use of blocking ads, but they need to fix the problem with ads themselves somehow. And even some are intensive for the website where the user is struggling to use the site fluidly, gets to the point that R.A.M. starts to climb over time if we leave the tab open, even with ads being blocked. Too many scripts or badly optimized.
Don't even try using EDGE with this site. My laptop can't handle it, but it handles it better with Firefox, yet it still can be a bloated monster. I've tried other e-mail clients and they are smooth-fluid and responsive without hogging resources, but I've invested too much on Yahoo!'s e-mail for the past 20 years to just give it up. I hope they fix it. I also tried Yahoo! with Thunderbird and it is fast and responsive, pus hardly uses R.A.M. in comparison to the e-mail client on the site.
Chromium browsers aren't any better, but much better than I.E./EDGE. Firefox is still a better option for me than Chromium since it's more responsive and smoother in comparison.
Note: My laptop might be weaker than most, so don't come with "I'm not seeing this problem on my laptop," since my desktop being powerful can handle Yahoo! fine. I merely wanted to say that Yahoo!'s e-mail is bloated compared to everything else out there and use my laptop for comparison.
