I don't mind ads but your ads are too intrusive.
I don't mind ads, after all yahoo provides us with a free service. But ads can be tailored not to be intrusive when one uses a service. In that case I will white-list yahoo mail.

There is an official acceptable ads standard. Your ads do not meet that standard, and are therefore seen as abusive by most people. What you don't understand is that if the ad blocking software didn't exist, no one would visit your site, and a popular push for adware legislation would now be underway.

Totally agree on this suggestion. I am not opposed to ads, but they must be reasonable. Filling one core constantly by downloading ads is not what I call reasonable. Decrease the consumption of CPU and bandwidth and I will take the ad-blocker off.

There is too little screen acreage devoted to actual email - which is your job. For that reason, I've already begun to migrate me email away from Yahoo. Yahoo is the REASON I INSTALLED AN AD BLOCKER, now you want to harass me for having it? I've had my Yahoo email since the 90s, when you could actually see your email. I have never and will never click on an ad to make a purchase. I consider them SPAM.

everyone is posting on here but what i think we all want to know is why is nothing ever being done I'm wondering if anyone from yahoo even reads this so why even ask us if your not going to do anything about it and STOP asking me to white list yahoo if your stupid adds didn't mess up my mail i wouldn't need ad blocker to begin with your adds make my emails take forever to load and then when it does your adds change and my email reloads its ridicules

Ads crash browser is a given. I changed my name when I got married but it keeps coming up with my maiden name in emails. Fix bugs like that before redoing everything else and expecting us to white list the site.

Until you filter scam ads yahoo mail stays on ad blocking. I will not white list anything until I know that I am protected from bad ads that take over the browser with a full screen warning that my computer is infected.
Or ads that consume a vast number of cpu cycles and drain my laptop battery. Or videos that start when they are not anywhere on screen but way down the page. There are many reasons why ad blockers are used. Why don't you address the issues instead of asking me to white list? -

At work, on an octa-core with 32B of memory, your new interface works great. Back home, on my old core 2-duo with only 2 GB of memory, the new Yahoo Mail draws years of my life through the eyes, waiting for something to happen on that screen!...... :)))))
Oh, and btw - if AdBlock is started in my browser, it might just be there for a good reason. Stop asking me to white list Yahoo only because i should somehow, by default, take all the popups you send me - ABP counted about a dozen in only a few minutes.
Funny thing - now i'm not sure anymore on which mailbox i am, because it tends to look a lot like.. the other one (am i allowed to say "G**gle"?) :D :D -

STOP THE VIDEOS. YOU CLEAR INBOX THEN TRASH AND CANNOT GET BACK TO INBOX WITHOUT REFRESHING. VIDEO LOADING FREEZES THE SCREENS.
