lost my password.
One can no longer recover one's password. All that's available is having a code sent to one's phone and then typing in the code. This has locked me out of my netflix account as it keeps asking for my yahoo password (it's linked to my yahoo account.) I am in the process of moving all of my important email out of yahoo and into gmail. Then I will close this account. Extraordinarily stupid, not to mention it's discriminatory towards people without smart phones (like my mother).

If you need to reset your password, you can follow our online system here:

If you can’t sign into an account and are unable to recover it online, we offer phone support through our Yahoo Account Pro service:
https://productcentral.yahoo.com/products/yahoo-account-pro-help/?ncid=mbr_ryhacqdis00000015If you’re seeing a prompt to get a code each time you log in, you may need to turn Account Key off:
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account/sln25921.html
Finally, if you feel your account has been compromised, you can follow these steps to secure it:

Thank you!

When you click on settings, it should be an option you see right away.

Your password selection method is pathetic. Please keep it simple - and dont give the **** that it is for our safety. If others can provide it you too should be able to provide it.

EVERY time I sign in, I put my password in correctly, and STILL have to wait for a notification to my cell phone (which has terrible service so it takes a LONG time to recieve). The other option is to have a message sent to my email address......which I CANT LOGIN TO......DUH.....
Seriously. Once in like 6 months or so is okay, but EVERY TIME?

The last 3 days someone has changed my password from what I had set is as. Have I been hacked or why is this happening?

While I respect your two-factor authentication, it's irritating as **** to have to log into TWO emails just to get into THIS one.
The prompt is "unusual activity" with no mention of where our how to address it. If something else is accessing my account, I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT to change my password.

Why do I have to go through 3 screen to sign in? Please have the username and password in one screen.

Why do you require a code for me to enter now? I do not want the extra security step. Please return me to just entering my password, thanks.

This new sign in feature is total ****. You have to confirm with your cell phone your identity. If I wanted to use my phone I would just check my email on the app. When I get on my pc I don't want to run to get my phone. Please change this back to a regular password this is backwards thinking.
