no phone
Driving me nuts! LOCKING ME OUT OF MY E-MAILS, asking me for a mobile phone number, 'so that you can recover your account', It asks me to add a number to continue. There is no option to skip this.
i DO NOT HAVE A PHONE, I DO NOT WANT ONE.
i CANNOT GET TO MY E-MAILS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS TRYING TO FORCE ME TO GIVE A NUMBER THAT I DO NOT HAVE. 'dummy' numbers do not work, 'old/alternative' numbers does not work as it says its sent a 'verification code' to the number THAT i DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO.
What the F is Yahoo playing at? I just want to enter my account name and a password, so I can read my e-mails, no 'verification codes', no 'mobile numbers', nada.

If you added an alternate email address to your Yahoo address, you can use a desktop computer to send the Account Key to it. You can find additional info in this help article: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account/SLN25921.html
If you’re still unable to sign in, please visit our official Yahoo Account Help Central page for the available recovery and support options: https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?page=contact&locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT

I have no idea what you people are doing following the leader when you're not capable of figuring out I've had this account for years. I have to prove WHAT? To WHO? Where you people get off being so **** nosy, controlling, and power-hungry is beyond me. How about it's none of your business?

I've complained about this problem several times now and there doesn't appear to be any action to this issue. The last reply suggested I wait the fairly short time to complete the login..TReally???The fairly short time is 'one hour' and with my business that's totally unacceptable I need immediate access to my mail. As I pointed out before my International business totally revolves around email access
I might respectively suggest that you use whatever influence you have to contact direct Yahoo/AOL and request them to remove this so called security and privacy rubbish. Probably instigated by some YAHOO back room nerd who decided to make a name for himself and come up with this hair brained idea in the name of security. Really??? And the idiots who agreed with him have the same value. Un-bloody-believable.
It serves no purpose at all only to inconvenience it's users. At the end of the day Yahoo is supposed to be there to give customer service, how in God's name can anyone call what they are doing customer service, far from it. -

My verification phone no for several years got accidentally deleted. I do not know how to add it back. There is no option either on a web browser log in from my Laptop, or on a App log in from my mobile. I have been using this id for 21 years, for the first time I am facing this kind of a problem

New Email System Is Causing Sign In Issues for my account. I am not going to pay for support! Without making the settings for Yahoo Account Key, it somehow is now required. At the moment, I am not able to log into any of my devices because I switched phone carriers and have two new numbers. Without being able to get an account key code or to say it is me logging in, I am not able to sign into my yahoo account. With the new email platform, I believe I will be using a different email provider. This is **** to go through with the changes. I have used the same email address for over 15 years and will be losing a lot of information, not to mention all my email subscriptions.
