I have lived in Nicaragua for 17 years.
Nicaragua does NOT use Daylight Saving.
Yahoo Mail is telling me that my computer's time is wrong.
No, the time is CORRECT.
For 6 months, Nicaragua is on Central Time.
The other 6 months, we are on Mountain Time.
Please allow me to tell Yahoo that there is NO DAYLIGHT SAVING IN NICARAGUA ever! (Except, if the President of Nicaragua changes his/her mind.) -

We need a setting to disable the time zone warnings.
The time zone that I set up in my account settings 20+ years ago is still the correct time zone. But, in the new interface, I'm getting time zone mismatch warnings *all* *the* *time*, because Firefox (probably for privacy reasons?) insists on always reporting its time in UTC, no matter what time zone it's actually in. I've heard many reports of other people getting similar warnings when they're using a VPN.
This could be trivially solved with a check box: "Always use the account time zone and ignore whatever (wrong) thing the browser says."

Yahoo Mail asked me to update my time zone. I live in Bucharest (capital of Romania) and am in the time zone GMT+2. All the closest cities are GMT+1 - how is it possible in this day and age, that 1) the time zone is not detected automatically and 2) 3/4 of the world is missing?! Please update or remove that setting altogether!

Hi.
When I log in, it constantly asks to update my location.
Also, why doesn't your compose 'Capitalize' the first letter of the sentence like every other writing program in the world?
Thanks

I really do not cross time zone lines to go to work. Please remove this idiotic notification. It is not at all helpful, even if it were detecting true time zone crossings.

WHY IS IT EVERY DAY I OPEN MY EMAIL YAHOO WANTS ME TO UP DATE MY TIME ZONE? MY TIME ZONE HAS NOT CHANGED IN OVER 10 YEARS. THE ONLY THING THAT HAS CHANGED IS MY YAHOO EMAIL THAT WENT FROM CLASSIC THAT KEPT MY TIME ZONE TO A NEW USELESS YAHOO MAIL THAT HAS BEEN BROKEN FRON THE VERY START. HOW CAN ANYONE GET USE TO USING THIS USELSS EMAIL IF IT IS BROKEN? NOTHING BUT TROBLES AND SEE MORE TO COME.

For more than a week, I have noticed that mail displayed in the Yahoo Mail module of My Yahoo has an incorrect time stamp displayed. For example, it is now 4:35 PM, PDT, and the most recent mail in my inbox is shown as 10:21 PM for an item received in Yahoo Mail at 3:21 PM today. Previous mail, received today at 10:22 AM in my inbox, is displayed in My Yahoo's mail module as being received at 5:22 PM, which time has not yet occurred! These are just two examples among many. Please fix this! There is a seven hour difference between the correct time of receipt and the time displayed in My Yahoo.

I was 7 hours late for an appointment that should have taken place at 10AM (which I entered for 10AM but Yahoo changed it to 5PM in the reminder and in the calendar and added GMT+1 next to 5PM
PLEASE LEAVE MY APPOINTMENTS TIMES ALONE ! I don't need Yahoo to tell me what time zone I mean!! -

To Whom It May Concern:
Re: City Location for my Desk Top Yahoo Weather
Why does my desk top, Weather City location change?
I follow the instructions, type in my city location, zip code, and click; Detect my location.
My city name location changes, for a minute, but as soon as I close the Yahoo website, the city location of, Clinton, ******* is still there, instead of Oak Ridge, TN **************
Therefore, I am assuming, something isn't working properly and needs a Yahoo tech to correct the problem.
I may be old, but I am not stupid.
It is frustrating. I do "NOT" live in Clinton, TN 37717. I live in ***************TN ************
It would be nice to have this issue resolved, in a timely manner, and a reply with instructions, if I am doing something incorrectly.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
