Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete
Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

Contacts are not as accessible as they were in the old yahoo mail version, which by the way I still like much better. Also, when I want to delete a duplicate contact, it deletes all of the entries for that contact. How can I delete a duplicate or redundant contact without deleting all entries for that contact?

Please bring back the original Yahoo mail!!. When you switched over to the new Yahoo mail, I lost over 200 contact addresses for our reunion class mailing list. The V-cards were great and then you could print out all the contact address information. This new Yahoo doesn't give you the chance to add comments or addresss to your contacts. I need my old Yahoo back so I don't have to retype everything. Or better yet, maybe cancel out my Yahoo and go to GMAIL. They seem to have it together.

You must be doing this on purpose!

so many Yahoo mail problems to list them all would be impossible. Not only that the mistakes and ***** ups change all most daily. Things like contacts disappearing, and contacts deleted months (even years) ago back in my contacts list. As far as I can tell there is no way to edit, print, add to, or delete from the list. Duplication's come and go randomly. It is impossible for me to believe your company is not doing all of this **** on purpose. I have had my Yahoo email account for many years and really do not want to change to another it's a shame Yahoo is not as loyal to me as I have been to you.

Your new "Contacts" system is screwed! I can't enter new people and old ones I have deleted are showing up again! What the **** are you people doing? Did you hire ****** programmers? YOU ARE RUINING MY BUSINESS CONTACTS!!! I AM LOSING REVENUE!!! I AM LOSING CLUB MEMBERS BECAUSE I CAN'T GET MESSAGES TO THEM! GO BACK TO TO OLD FORMAT, IT WORKED JUST FINE! IF YOU DON'T CLEAN THIS UP IN ONE WEEK, I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO SWITCH TO GMAIL!! IT CAN'T BE ANY HARDER TO LEARN THAN THIS **** IS!! UNHAPPILY YOURS!!!

Now I cannot edit an exiting contact. What the heck is going on at Yahoo????
Do you give a **** about your customers? Fix this **** already. To sum up:
Contacts are barely usable with the latest chagnes.
They no longer synch with Iphones
You cannot easily add a new contact.
You cannot edit an existing contact.
Lists are problematic.FIX THIS

Still waiting on this issue to be fixed. I consider it an urgent one as a business owner paying for ad free email.

I want CLASSIC back, and you can keep all of the bells and whistles that I find useless.I had a 'list' of contacts called 'Bills" and it is gone. I really dislike what you have done to Classic Mail and all of its tools. As a long time subscriber to this service, your IT should be ashamed.

restore old contacts version. New is useless. mail sometimes picks an email address tht is not in contacts list I've set up. New contacts - can't see what I've set up & can't check/update different lists. Can't find how/where to assign new contact to a list.
new contacts stinks - many more bugs/problems than able to doc here. Restore old. -

Chuck, thank you for your informations! The last time I tried going back to Yahoo Classic I could not find out how to do it (I am out of town and on my iPad so will need to try again when I get home and can access a real computer). I think I was able to get to Yahoo Mail Basic, but I may be getting the names mixed up. Anyway, I could see my contacts and edit them, but could not edit which lists they were in. Also, all notes on contacts were missing, and I use that feature extensively. The notes are showing up on my iPhone as well as the new and “improved” (cough cough) yahoo mail, but sooooo many things about the new mail contacts are messed up, hence the 552 comments on this post. How do you get back to Mail Classic and the ability to modify lists and notes?
