blocking unwanted emails
I recently provided my email address as part of a consumer response, and now I find my email is being routinely spammed daily by fictitious email addresses. These emails are coming from addresses where a valid email address has been hijacked, and the "new" user has simply placed an additional part in the address. Such as Joe.Blow@vresp##.amazon.com or Donotrespond@vmail##.infonet.net. Can you restore the use of the * as a wildcard identifier so I don't have to individually block all these? As in @vresp.. or @vmail... This used to work, but it is no longer recognized as a legitimate email address.

Hi there,
Thank you for the feedback. We will that this into consideration on future updates,
In the mean time I would suggest mark these emails as “spam.” This will tell our internal filters to block then before they arrive.

A few months ago, I upgraded to Yahoo Pro for $3.99/mo. Now that Yahoo has launched the Plus version ($5/mo), I get tons of spam in my inbox. It never happened before the new version came out or even when I had the basic version. I think you guys are being greedy & doing it on purpose to try and push people to upgrade to Plus. It's a shame because I was enjoying the Pro. I also have 2 Gmail accounts, which are free and I never have a problem with spam in my inbox. If this doesn't improve I will have to switch all my email to Gmail. I would hate to do it because I've had this account for over 15 years but, it's getting really annoying.

I can block spam emails, but obscene and disturbing emails in 'bold' ads will not block, so I keep getting these disgusting spam emails. What? Do they pay you extra to avoid having addresses blocked?

When changing account password, there is no second password field to ensure that it matches and has been correctly entered. Given the emphasis on long and complex passwords these days, it seems like an appropriate step.

SERIOUSLY! You guys need to get this **** under control! This is absolutely ridiculous! I don’t have this kind of issue with literally any other mail service. Despite my Apple ID being linked to this account, I’m seriously contemplating just throwing away this account because I’m getting bombarded by spam and the nonchalant responses you guys give of, “oh, just mark it as spam when you get it”, when I’m getting 3+ pieces of these DAILY aren’t good enough. Get your **** together and make a more aggressive system for blocking spam!
