How can we improve New Mail?

This new tiny compose window

This new tiny compose window is absurdly inconvenient. First it does not come up in line of site. Second you cannot move it. Third who wants the visual noise of an open email in the background? Please go back to the original compose box.

    Holly P, are you aware that, using Yahoo webmail interface, you can use its older versions to show folders, messages and to write new messages or reply to them? They are the ones I use most, to tell you the truth! The "modern" versions of them are worse in aspects I find important. At least, Yahoo has not done the stupid step to cease the existence of their webmail page access without javascript, which I find it important too (That "gloo gloo" giant ceased it... their service is already worse in several aspects, but yesterday, I just discovered that I cannot access the simple webmail page... worse for them, one more reason to abandon all their services. To access their email, I will use IMAP access when needed. Hopefully, I will never need to use that stupid webmail interface anymore). What I would want to do with javascript, if anything, are minimal things. Dynamic pages are annoying. And if the choice is only having them together with a truck full of bloat, I prefer not having them at all!

    FYI: You can change back to the old Compose window screen under your Settings. Just go to the Pinwheel Icon for Settings, More Settings, Writing Emails and then from there you can change it back!

    Absolutely ridiculous. I'm going to start using Gmail and phase put of Yahoo email.

    I am fricking FURIOUS at this STUPID new "feature." It is HORRIBLE and tiny. Why did you DO this?????

    Yeah , i can't even compose a new email now , i get this box come up saying set as default , i don't know what it is , if i refresh the page the compose box is greyed out . . . . . what are they trying to set as default ? . . i don't get it , but i do need to send an email quite urgently now !

    I agree with you... It is an absolutely PATHETIC idea for a change. Sort yourself out YAHOO
