"Verification failed"
I have been trying for several days to establish my connection with my Yahoo mail account with my Apple Mail Client, which has 2-step verification enabled. After I put in my Yahoo password, I was given several ways to verify it. No matter what method I use, Passord, text, Yahoo app notice, even though I enter the response correctly, I get a message from Mail saying 'Verification Failed". I have tried to delete the account, used the "Forgot Username" path suggested by their bot and changed my password 3 times. No matter what I do, I get the same message and can't connect to Yahoo Mail.
When I called Yahoo's helpline, The call got dropped, and then they asked me to respond to a survey.
It seems many people are having this problem, with variations. This is mine Any suggestions?
