My email account containing important photos, USCIS immigration documents and official records was deactivated deleted by this organisation.
Great ! After all these years of trust, you guys threw me under the bus. All of the former users too believe you are retaining our email and related info and you still have them.
If you don't have them, why can't we open new accounts using our old email id ?
We don't want our old email accounts. For heaven's sake, Just give us our documents photos and memories back to us and ALL of us ex-users will leave forever

If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!

After 12 months or more of not using your mailbox, it is considered inactive. It will stop receiving new emails, and all mailbox contents, folders, contacts and settings are permanently deleted.
