Not prompting for my contacts; prompting for unknown addresses
I have a list of 'top contacts' in my address book. The most common address I use (for the past four years, almost daily) starts with an 'M.' for years, all I had to do was type and 'm' and Yahoo prompted my most common address and completed it. Now, it prompts me for a bunch of contacts that are NOT even in my contact list! People I may have heard from or whose address I might have manually inserted once or twice. To write an email to my top contact, I have to open the contacts list and scroll through and click a box to get that address. I have cleared my contacts list of all out-of-date addresses. However, I cannot find a way to PERMANENTLY delete all these unknown and obscure addresses that show up in the prompt list. I can click and X for them not to be prompted RIGHT NOW, but I can't just delete them from Yahoo EVER prompting for addresses from spam emails I once got or people whose addresses I typed manually a few times in the past year. I have gone to settings and 'contacts' and disabled everything that would merge my address books from other devices. It has not helped.
1. Why won't Yahoo recognize and prompt for my most common addresses that are in the 'top' list in my address book?
2. How do I stop Yahoo prompting for addresses that I have not put in my address book and I NEVER want to see a prompt for?

This is a daily, sometimes hourly annoyance.
