Yahoo has the worst search capability. if you go to a folder, then type something in the search, sometimes you'll see what you are searching for but most often, you a ton of stuff found even from other folders. Then if you click on one to see what the e-mail content is, it jumps away from that folder into a whole new bunch of e-mails that have nothing to do with the original search. I used apple mail on my iphone for years and it was great. You go to the folder, search, it gives you options on whether you are searching subject or content, and stays in that folder. Recently, I had to switch to yahoo mail, now I can't search successfully on my phone or my desktop. Wow. this really needs to be fixed.

OH MY GOSH!! I've wondered if anyone else had this issue. This has been a nuisance forever. I don't even know if the search EVER has worked correctly. I've told Yahoo about this a few times, but just learned to deal with it. It makes NO SENSE!
Then.......if you search for "John" in your calendar, but there's JohnDoe in your calendar, you get "no results". WHAT????? This is ridiculous. YES THERE IS A JOHN in my calendar.......but, no, not according to Yahoo.
How hard can this be to fix these little issues? I'm not a programmer, can but it can't be all that hard, especially after decades of knowing it's not working properly.
