Please reinstate the SORT by SUBJECT function for the email list.

Several forums I participate in send e-mail notifications whenever someone posts to a forum. These e-mails include the contents of each post. The topic name of each forum is identified by the name in the SUBJECT with each email.

The problem is since the posts come at different times/days, they all land in my inbox by day/time. However, they're all in a random order stack regarding their subjects. This makes it tedious to pick and read emails of the same subject (and in chronological order) - one subject at a time, then on to the next subject, etc.

This finding and picking process interrupts the logical flow of the thought process since subsequent posts frequently build on earlier posts.

The Sort by Subject function remedied this issue and was very useful before you eliminated it. It gathered all emails of the same Subject together. The date/time sort then became the secondary sort by default, and all emails were sorted in chronological order within the Subject (topic).

The result was I could read all emails on a given topic together in the order they were posted to the forum.

I'd really appreciate it if you would reinstate this valuable function.
