How can we improve New Mail?

Ad Banner across bottom of screen

Why is there a new advertising banner across the bottom of the page? 2 already exist on the right side of the screen. This covers up email where you can only see a small part of it. Is this an intent to have people pay a monthly fee?

    Thank you! I was just about to post this! It is super annoying on a widescreen display, because it considerably shortens the message view. What was wrong with having just one ad on the side? Or put it on top next to the search bar where it wont take up additional space! Seriously, who thought that was a good spot to annoy people?!?

    What is wrong with you people? My email is virtually unusable with this ad taking up the bottom of my email window. I'm not even here complaining about the ad to the far right of the window, which is also extremely annoying. But for now, get rid of that ad at the bottom. Otherwise I, like many others, will be breaking up with you and finding a new email provider.

    Stupid ads at the bottom that cover your mailbox. WTF would you fix something that wasn't broke! We have enough ads floating on the sides & among the emails. Now you block the bottom? This is the stupidest update! It is the same ads as on the sides. GET RID OF IT PLEASE

    Remove the new ad at the bottom of the email screen. There are already ads on the right side and embedded within the emails, putting another at the bottom and taking up the majority of the screen with ads is just greedy and obnoxious. Although I have had this email for over 20 years now, taking the time to swap to Google is looking better and better.

    The ad at the bottom makes it nearly impossible to read emails on my laptop. Please get rid of it,
    There is already an ad on the right. My experience with Yahoo has steadily degraded over the years. If this ad stays, then I will be done with Yahoo.

    REMOVE THE BOTTOM ADS FROM MY PREVIEW SCREEN!!! THIS IS ABOUT MY NEEDS NOT YOURS!!! IT IS DISRUPTIVE!! RIDICULOUS!!

    If I put the preview pane on the bottom, where I like it, I get a double dose of adverts – on the side as they've always been, but now also on the bottom where it covers almost all of the preview pane.

    The side banner ads in Yahoo mail were irritating enough, but now you have a bottom banner ad as well - it renders the email program impossible to use without opening every email. Preview setting is useless with all the ad banners obstructing one's view of email content. Rather than raising more revenue, I suspect the advent of additional ads will drive customers from your platform. Yahoo is shameless. Plenty of other free email options available who don't abuse their customers with ads. Fire the dime-store MBA at Yahoo who came up with this brilliant plan

    So, Yahoo has ads on the right side of the screen, most emails have ads at the top where one can't even see the email without excessive scrolling, now more advertising space is at the bottom of the screen which leave about 6 inches square of space on a large monitor to attempt to read an email. I have been with Yahoo for a while now, and I stopped using the mobile app because the delay in updating emails caused me to delete emails that I have not read yet because the email would refresh. REMOVE THE BOTTOM ADVERTISEMENT AREA NOW OR I AM LEAVING YOUR APPLICATION AND MY EYES WILL NOT SEE ANY OF YOUR ADVERTISEMENTS. YAHOO NEWS IS BAD NOW THE EMAIL APPLICATION IS GETTING WORSE. WHY ANGER YOUR AUDIANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    There was barely enough room to read emails already between the bloated (and completely un-needed top banner bars), existing side ad, etc.

    Now the readable area of the screen is RIDICULOUSLY small - what is it like 30-40% now?!?!?!?

    CAN NOT read email with the bottom ad! I am researching what email to move to if anyone has suggestions. SOOOOOO annoying!

    I can't preview my emails on a laptop at all because the ad blocks it! And even on a full monitor screen I can see less of my email.

    I get you have to run ads. But to run two different ads at the same time, on the right of my screen (which doesn't interfere with my viewing) and now on the bottom of the screen too (which blocks half of my emails and the majority of my reading pane) is just ridiculous!

    It is Yahoo being greedy for money from your advertisers instead of providing a good service.

    You think this will make people want to pay to upgrade their service with you but all it does is make people want to ditch your service.

    The ad at the bottom of the page barely leaves any space to read emails.
    After years of use I think I'll finally have to make a decision to move to an alternate email
