YahooMail+ sign up from Canada!
3 problems.
Can't use VISA in China when I'm in a banana republic aka Canada. The circular route through your help pages ends by telling me that the 'Subscription is not available in your region'.
I tried my gmail account & there is a way through this problem to link my yahoo basic email account using VISA & the Google Payment System, but it's not necessary! Yahoo.com can do this! With the new type of GUI image in basic YM there was a red icon (top right) asking if I wanted to try a 14d trial of YM+. In a desperate attempt to cause myself more mental anguish, I clicked on it. Up pops a new screen together with my VISA card number, so I clicked the 'YES' button(s) & I now have YahooMail+! Amazing & it's a good job I didn't shoot myself!
Your help pages are useless & are circular. They read as is they were written by a manager or a secretary. Revise the pages & give more technical information for the user. Easy!
I also phoned this info in to your 1-800 support line where notes were taken & the conversation was recorded. Send a note about this to your call centres please.
