Ads take too much room on reading pane
I don't mind the ads on the side but the ads along the bottom take up to much room, make them smaller or better yet get rid of them.

Did you really have to put a huge old add at the bottom of the email list? You aren't making enough from the ads on the right sidebar and the ads in the middle of the email lists? It's too distracting! Please take away the ads from the bottom of the email list!
I seriously cannot stand to look at my email! It's too distracting to have that big ad at the bottom!

All of a sudden yesterday Google ads have started appearing at the bottom of my Yahoo Mail Inbox. I have my view set to List. I've always had ads to the right of the Inbox but now they're also taking up valuable real estate at the bottom. Is there a way to remove them from the bottom other than upgrading to Yahoo Plus?

Please remove the ads from bottom of page, ads on the right are way to plentiful as it is. I want my full screen back.

Hi Folks...
I've been a Yahoo user for 20+ years.... Lately the ads are becoming overly distracting (ads in the side bar, ads at the bottom of the message, ads between my messages in my inbox). I find myself feeling more frustrated when I open my inobx and less inspired. I have been devoted to Yahoo and would like to stay that way. However I also want to do my work without a constant barrage of moving distractions. Please find a less distracting way to share ads with us.
A devoted Yahoo customer,
Kristi -

Thank you so much for adding another advertisement area to the already heavily advertised area of the inbox, if you can find a way to squeeze in 1 or 2 more advertisements to the inbox I won't even be able to see the e-mails anymore. You guys have gone from my top email provider to the worst, i tell everyone to stay away and use google, they have the same inbox(which you copied) and no advertisements, it's amazing.

An Ad shows in my inbox looking exactly like an unread message, including the read/unread checkbox, only difference is the date. I inadvertently clicked on it once and it was a link to the same domain as the embedded ad frame on the right, but it redirected me to a site my browser alerted as suspicious. It should not be possible for an ad to be disguised as a real email message in the inbox. I may have to stop using the yahoo browser email inbox if it continues to allow this as it is a big security hole/risk. An obvious banner ad in my inbox is ok, but please disable this ability to display an add as a message.

Are you really that desperate for money that now you have three ad spaces? And one at the bottom, stealing email-viewing space?
What ever happened to the greatest email platform!?
You guys are pathetic! -

Please remove adds from bottom and left side of the screen when I'm reviewing- This is bad idea.

Ad at bottom of mailbox view covers content and disrupts the viewing experience. Please remove. I don't mind ads as long as they are not disruptive. I find yahoo mail very difficult to use with this ad placement.

I understand the email I have is the free service, but the constant ads in motion are annoying, distracting, and extremely obnoxious.

The new ad at the bottom of the web mail reading pane covers the email content. When i go down the list of new emails on the left hand side, I have to scroll up the email pane to read the email. i didn't have to do that in the past. This is very intrusive. You've tried it before and then removed it. It is interfering with the functionality. What next, an ad covering the middle of the email. You must keep the email reading pane free from ads or your product becomes annoying and then replaced.

Spam - why can i no longer get rid of spam from my spam folder - ie i can no longer block future spam from emails?
I think this is very necessary. I now pay monthly for my email yet I have no facility to block future emails from spam in my spam folder?

Please increase the no. of "Blocked Email IDs" from 1000 to atleast 5000 so that all Offensive, Absurd, Sexually Inappropriate, Violence-filled etc mails can be blocked. My 1000 IDs list is almost filled.

Did you turn off your spam filters? Amount of spam that makes it through has gone up considerably in the past month or so. Other people I know that use Yahoo email have said the same thing.

The company I do business with has been in my contacts for YEARS. You STILL put them in the spam folder almost every time. Every time I mark them NOT SPAM but it continues to happen.

Hello, I'm having trouble setting up additional mailboxes for sending emails. I have my own domain and a corporate email address. When I associate this account to send emails with my domain from Yahoo, I'm not prompted for the SMTP server or outgoing port; I'm only asked for my email address, password, and a basic verification to confirm the account belongs to me. The problem is that all the emails I send from my Yahoo account to my clients or colleagues are being diverted to the spam folder, no matter how many times I mark the email as safe.
Is there any way to fix this issue or access an advanced configuration where I can modify this problem?
