I want the reading pane to be blank when I choose
In the old Yahoo mail when I clicked the inbox icon to refresh the reading pane went blank. This is good for privacy in case of shoulder surfers please can we have it back.

Forwarding from Filter Results
Like Gmail and the other mail services, it would be nice if YahooMail users could have an Email-Forwarding-To-Another-Email-Account action be applied to the results of a Filter. It's nice that a Filter allows one to automatically move messages to another folder; in the same way, I would like to be able to provide an email address to which all results of a Filter are automatically sent.

Multiple filter values in any of the filter classes.
Ex:
Filter Name: Family
From: Contains: test.smith@test.com; test2.smith@test.com; test3.smith@test.comEven though the family is not that interesting, they at least have a small domain, and the feature is very useful for little Test3.
Also the same concept could go for the other filters. -

Email announcing automatic switch to latest version of email
On Jan 20, 2019 you sent me an email announcing that my email utility would be automatically switched to the "latest version of Yahoo Mail" on January 31. I visited https://overview.mail.yahoo.com/ to learn what the latest version looks like and discovered that I am already using the latest version. Why did you send me a misleading email?

"Backspace" button prompts deleting conversation... Delete button can be used for it.
When we Click "Backspace" button while using Yahoo mail, it prompts to delete the conversation.
If Someone wants to delete any mail or conversation, then he can simply use "Delete" Button. Why unnecessarily "Backspace" button used as control for deleting ??
"Backspace" can be kept simply for escaping the Mail.

Good start. Get rid of Mayer. She is clueless. Yahoo is in dire straits and no hope. The mail is awful. Organization is pathetic and news is the worst it can ever possibly be. If you want to be in the news business get someone who knows what to do and how to present it legitimately. And I do not mean Katey Kuric.

Stay away from the Google format!
The outlook format is way superior to the Google format. mostly everyone I know that has used the Google format does not like it, including myself. I try to use other means of accessing my email.

I want to log in with password! No more askin for do you have this e mail for "verification"waste of valuable time
I have last pass which won't give the password until the ad shows. Often i have to open another account to get the silly authorization code.
Many of user have time sensitive email to send. life is stressful enough with out more added on.
I want an opt out so I can quickly do business. -
priority inbox
Gmail has a priority inbox, why doesnt yahoo? I need certain emails to come to the top, I have been missing tons of emails. Your fake mailboxes dont work. I cannot get them to work to use for mailing lists etc
