Changing 'mark read' from "K" to "shift+K" is really annoying! I really liked being able to keep one hand on the mouse!

it should be possible to allow users to set their own controls for them
if you can save which emails are mine or not then you should be able to save controlsjust make it that if 2 controls are possible at once then they cant be the same binding
also imo making k invert the selected emails from read to unread if theres any unread selected would work and then if theres no unread messages itll set all selected to unread instead?

I wish yahoo actually listened to our feedback. I've been using my email address since the 90s. STOP CHANGING EVERY LITTLE THING THAT WORKS FINE! I don't want to press shift+k. I want to continue pressing K. If you disabled the functionality of k, put it back. It's not like you need it for something else, because when I press it, it just tells me to press shift+k. No. I don't want to. k worked just fine up until you forced me to switch.

Better yet Yahoo could just have settings to let users choose the key combination they want use.

I think "mark as read" will be used more than "mark as unread".
So why you made it harder!?It's better that: K be assigned to [mark as read] and Shift+K for [unread].

The Idea should be to bring enhancements to your services that are practical for all if not most users of technology that allows field access to our email as on a Tablet vs a Notebook where a physical keyboard is available. "Shift+K" = READ is not practical on Tablets, original single key entry "k" = READ is practical vs "any key +Entry"
Any double entry type short cuts if possible should be avoided for simple tasks to be carried out on a tablet. On the phone android app you have a practical solution to mark as read please consider that, I am sure access to yahoo mail on a tablet and marking read with a double entry makes it less than what it was. Being too cleaver can backfire and honestly it has been a single entry since I can remember and I have used yahoo mail since the 90s....
