Not able to download notepad data at all

Suggestions
- It should be clearly displayed on the mail homepage current volume and remaining volume of email data remaining.
- Should be able to filter by size of email. Therefore user can clear out greater volume of data first by deleting larger unused emails.

- Yes, we do have this, but the GB are only shown if you are close or have gone over the threshold. If you don't see anything, it's because you are no where near the threshold. You can always check by going to the left hand column and clicking on the cloud icon that says Storage.
- You can filter by size. In the sorting options from your Inbox, you will see "Largest First."

I would like to request a review of my Yahoo Mail account. My documents were deleted after the storage policy changes. These files are very important to me, and I would like to know if there is any possibility of recovering them or restoring a backup.Hi Laudilene, our team sent out a lot of communication emails and banners giving everyone plenty of heads up. We did it 60 days in advance, 30 days and then the day before!
Also, we do not delete files/emails if you're over the storage threshold. If you are over, you cannot send or receive emails until your under, but we do not delete anything. Hope this clarifies!

"Create Split View" issue
PLEASE remove the "Create Split View" feature from the left hand side of the Mail screen, or at least help me find the setting to turn it off. Every time I try to drag an email into a folder, it much too quickly opens the Create Split View window, making it very frustrating to complete what should be a very simple task.
Hi Gary, this is not a feature or addition on our end, but instead your browser, Chrome. This is something Google added. You can disable it under your Chrome Settings. We provided a screenshot to help you!

How do I f ind out how much storage that I am using? The instructions on your website don't work.
Are you on the old version or new version of the app? In the new version you can check, but the setting is not available in the old version. Thanks.

Please allow user to block more than 1000 spam emails. I have exhausted 1000 limit in 6 months with increasing spam mails daily and now can not block any more senders. I am getting 15 to 20 spam emails daily. Or you needs to increase your security.

Feedback about changes regarding storages
I am extremely disappointed with Yahoo's decision to limit mailbox storage and charge users for additional capacity.
When I originally signed up for Yahoo Mail more than 20 years ago, one of the key selling points was the promise of unlimited email storage. I have relied on that commitment for decades and have accumulated over 30 GB of emails based on the understanding that my storage would continue to be available.
Now I am being told that my storage will be restricted to 15 GB unless I pay for additional space. This feels like a complete reversal of the commitment…

We did communicate this very early on so you could be prepared! We also have great deleting tools to get your account under the threshold. You can find this under Manage Storage in your Settings.
Last, we still offer the most free storage! If you need to upgrade, we also offer the cheapest plan in the industry. We do apologize as this decision did not come lightly. Thanks again!

I can not fine "Manage Storage" on Desktop mail. I see only the cloud icon with the size but cannot click it. Looks like it is just a static indicator. I need full interactive mange storage.

get rid of the ads in tge body of my inbox
Get the ads out o the body of my inbox and put them back on the top. This is a nuisance.
Yes, we do have a few ads in our app, but we also offer an ad-free experience (like many apps today) if you upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus, but of course it's not mandatory. We will also share your feedback with the right team. Thanks.

Make it easier to delete the AI summaries
I'm trying to delete the AI summary from my emails. This line told me to go to settings, then AI features, but AI features is not on the menu that comes up on my phone. Please advise. I hate these summaries!!
Yes, it's because you are on the older desktop version. We do not have those Settings there, we recommend updating to the newest version and then you'll see those Settings, to turn off AI Summaries. We are currently not adding anything new to the old version as it will eventually be EOLed. Thanks!

Old emails deleted
I've lost all emails from before 2006. I know that's a long time ago but I had a lot of memorable messages from before that date that I would be keen to read again. Is there any way to recover them? and is there any way to prevent further messages from being deleted?

Hello, I keep receiving the message that "Your Mailbox storage will be full in 21 days". I've just deleted over 2500 emails from past years. Why do I keep receiving this message? Thank you.
Hi there, once you delete emails from your Inbox, please make sure to empty trash and spam folders too. Once you do this as well, you'll see the storage numbers decrease. Thanks!

File Sizes
Storage: there seems to be no way of finding out what size your emails are, ordering them in size order, or doing anything to that could help customers reduce their storage. Every suggestion made by AI about menu options and tips for Yahoo mail is wrong. When you go into Settings, there is no Manage Storage option, just Appearance, Mailboxes, Notifications etc. As you are so cruelly reducing the 1Tb allowance down to not 100Gb, not 50Gb, but a paltry 15Gb, how about giving us poor customers some help so we can reduce our footprint?

Email Storage used
Provide dedicated link or Icon to find out how much storage is currently being used. The pathway suggested in your "help"/guidance gave no options beyond "Add or Manage Accounts" and "Sign Out". IMHO worse than useless. If you're going to hand out what are effectively threats then at least have the information in them outside of the threats be useful.

Remove the threat of losing emails because of storage
Hello, I do not understand why there is a limit on my storage, I just delted 10,000 (2) times, I do not have time for the threat of losing emails unless I purchase a plan?? This is not FAIR!!
This is shared with all communication and in help articles, but once you delete emails, you do have to empty your Trash or Spam folder. Then you will see your storage number decrease. Thanks.

malware ads by Yahoo
Stop sending ads that are malware. I keep getting them thinking they are real ads but they are spam/malware. If my computer gets infected because of one of your ads you will be held responsible

My normal email line ads are being replaced by from: Mae Wilson, most subjects of "Healthy Eating", "Food Plan", "Senior Meals", "Senior Diet"
