I would like to request a review of my Yahoo Mail account. My documents were deleted after the storage policy changes. These files are very important to me, and I would like to know if there is any possibility of recovering them or restoring a backup.

Hi Laudilene, our team sent out a lot of communication emails and banners giving everyone plenty of heads up. We did it 60 days in advance, 30 days and then the day before!
Also, we do not delete files/emails if you're over the storage threshold. If you are over, you cannot send or receive emails until your under, but we do not delete anything. Hope this clarifies!
