I come here to have an open dialogue with people that have different opinions than me. Without a comment section your news Outlet is next to worthless...

I have NO IDEA why you would disable the comment sections.🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ The whole reason Yahoo is my main page is because I love being able to discuss the news with others. I love hearing other people's ideas and opinions. There's no reason for me to use Yahoo anymore since I can read the news on any page. There are also some random places where I can have discussions with others. This is such a HUGE disappoint! Goodbye Yahoo, switching to MSN.

It doesn't matter whether you want this responsibility or not. Yahoo, You Are Now (in Every sense of the concept)The Same Thing as Public Town Square. That means you can Not suspend comments (1st ammendment). You Can Not delete Anyone's content/comments Ever(1st amendment). You can Not keep track of Any commentors information, nor provide it to law enforcement- even if ordered to by the government(4th amendment). I know you don't like it, but that doesn't matter any more. You are not a private club on private property. You are public space now. ....so, please, grow up and deal with it.

Let us post comments again. It literally is the only reason I even look at Yahoo articles. The writers are mediocre at best, but comments are interesting and have less bias

I enjoyed reading BOTH sides. If some are abusing the comments, then handle them individually.

No reason for yahoo without comments.
Bring them back. No one is forced to read the comments. Why take them away because someone might have been offended? They had a choice to read or not to read.

Yahoo conspires to shut down free speech
I think the Federal Government should seize the asserts of Yahoo for fund and giving material support in the form of Propaganda to Marxist terrorists. Yahoo News feeds are non-stop anti-Trump smears. Instead of responding to the overwhelming negative reaction from readers for its unproven characture addasinations, adjectative bad mouthing the President and endless fake news..... Instead of cleaning up its ALL Soros News Feeds, it moved to silence dissidents, just as they do in China. This company needs be sold off to loyalists who are American not Fascists !

No reason to read the stories. If your not allowed to comment on them. Many are bias garbage. Advertisers take note. Only checking to see if I can comment. When I find out I can't. I leave Yahoo right after posting my feedback.

STOP Redirecting to the app store!
Every time I click on a past comment I made to see if anyone replied it sends me to the app store to try and get me to download the Yahoo News app! I DON’T want it! I just want it to take me to the comment I made.

Have a block all comments option in our accounts
Too many robots, trolls, and scammers in the comment section. Too much trash and I really rather just turn off all comments. Since I doubt Yahoo will do this, we need the option of blocking comments to all stories.
