Conversations
This a a revision of the post I just created.Though you can view long conversations with some closed, they show in the full message window. It has far too much text, making it extremely difficult to find the thread you want. GO BACK to viewing messages in Preview with the '>' (or '<') to open all Previews (not full messages). Then open the full message only of the Preview selected.

Please provide a way to sort filters or search for a filter
It would be useful to be able to search for a filter so that you can modify an an existing one rather than creating a new one (e.g. when a filter is using a sender email address and that address changes)
Sorting by filter name would also be helpful also.

Renaming attachments
Would be great if we could rename the attachment files.
Sometime we receive attachments and need to forward to someone else after renaming them. It is a waste of time and bandwidth to download an attachment, rename and then upload to forward.
Would be of great value if such a functionality is added to the yahoo mail.

Please but back the " block Sender " program. I now have 282 Spam Emails, day 5.
Once we get a spam EMail and delete it, we should never see it again !

Fix the up/down arrows in Settings-Filter which you can't see if you have a long list of filters that need re-ordering
If you add a filter, it goes directly to the bottom of this list. To reorder among others in the list is impossible with this new Yahoo mail format since the arrows to reorder are located only at the top. Please make usable this so one can move around filters and click on arrows at the same time. Another suggestion: allow the user to click and drag the filter to the desired position in the list rather than just use arrows.

List margin won't stay max to the right; keeps moving right margin to the left.
List margin won't stay max to the right; keeps moving right margin to the left. Please let me keep right margin to the right! I assume this space is for contacts or calendar or notes. Since I don't use these features, I would like to be able to move the list margin to the right and have it stay there.

Why is my inbox and all my mail gone from my account? Every single email in my account is gone since your "upgrade", if we can call it that.
This account is about 2 years old, and Yahoo (Verizon) and their illustrious team have deleted everything in the account. I cannot even figure out how to replace the contacts that were in here because there is absolutely nothing (zero) left in the account. How do I get back what you have stolen from me? There were categories that are now deleted, and emails that were filed. There were important emails in this email account from politicians and other contacts. How do I get that information restored back?
Am I supposed to file a complaint with the New Jersey Attorney…

right to choose
Is yahoo even pays attention to its users? So many people request the old version. why is the yahoo not listening? so rude! So intrusive to impose "upgrades" not welcomed by anyone. pathetic really. It's obvious: give people the freedom to choose what they like.

the new one is fine; however, place a delete all tab or allow to select multiple emails and delete
the new one is fine; however, i would like it if I could select multiple emails to delete. I tend to allow email to build up and would like to delete 50, 100, 250, 1000 at a time. Currently in order to clear my email, I have to scroll to the bottom then select all and delete and most of the time it will not work because there are too many in my inbox (8000). I know in previous versions, you could change this in a setting to delete ALL with out having to scroll. Thank you

Block Delete
Make it so that when the block at the top when checked is a fixed number of emails to be deleted. Now I check it says 40 if I uncheck just one email the checked number changes to a much larger amount.

Hidden cursor under the pop up address of the recipient
I did not choose to be upgraded and was forced into the new system. One problem is that when I press reply, the cursor is now hidden under the recipient's address, requiring an extra click instead of allowing me to start typing immediately. I will also switch to gmail if we can't "control" our writing adequately on Yahoo.

Signature block no longer can paste in with same format -lines are spread and font enlarged. Have to fix each time.
Make cut and paste accurately reproduce font size and spacing coming from Word, Text Edit etc. This way we can have small signature blocks as we had in the old version -- which I kept switching back to until you took it away. I used to yahoo was better than gmail. With this new version, gmail is better.
