Contacts hard to find
Why oh why do you hide the contacts behind a tiny grayed icon sitting way over on the right, over your crummy intrusive advertising that we have to shield our eyes from to focus on using email? Contacts are a main feature of any email system, there should be a prominent, clear, front & center icon or folder for getting to them. I really wonder about the competence and common sense of Yahoo Mail developers/designers. It is really one of the worst, ad-laden atrocities on the internet. If I could move my email name to another provider, I would. But…

Older mail is way better Please bring it back or lose another yahoo member. This new mail version really sucks and don't pardon my language. I feel like I saw the world and was just placed in a cage, one that you made, no one like this version so bring it back please...

HOW MUCH LONGER ARE YOU GOING TO TORTURE US YAHOO?
The only way you can improve Yahoo mail is to BRING BACK THE OLD CLASSIC FORMAT! The old format was easy to read, easy to use, it worked perfectly, so why did you change it? I really can't believe you actually paid someone to make this new one. DID YOU HIRE A BUNCH OF TODDLERS TO DESIGN THIS GARBAGE?

Fix settings so my font size setting works
The settings for font size don't work. I have it set to Medium but my outgoing mail defaults to Tiny. Please fix it!

Once again, the new e-mail is terrible!
Give us back the Classic e-mail format. This new one is a royal pain in the behind to use, and I don't want to see part of my message showing right next to the subject line! And it's so hard to see, the text isn't dark enough and those stupid backgrounds add nothing but frustration. In other words, I HATE THE NEW E-MAIL. From the other comments i can see that everybody else hates it too. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND GIVE US BACK THE CLASSIC FORMAT!

Contacts Icon
I really do not see a need for the ICONS to be in front behind or anywhere near the contacts that are in my contact list. Please get rid of that option or allow the user to change it. I do actually prefer my old email the way it was and I do not like the newest version. I do not believe it was broken in any form or fashion as it was. Thank you for your time.

New Mail sent 12:10 showed in inbox 1:55 (1hr45 later!!!)
No kidding. Sent an email at 12:10, it was replied to at 1:13. Original email showed up in my inbox (not the reply) 1hr 45 minutes after it was sent! What is going on with this???? Performance on new mail is really, really bad. Get rid of it! The prior mail worked! Don't ***** up what works! There are no improvements in the new mail!

Search no longer works in the new version
Since I was forced into the new version I have been unable to search my email. Yes, I have tried the dropdown box. It does not matter, the search only returns an error message "An error occurred while trying to fetch the items in this list.
Retry" Retry is what Yahoo! needs to do with Yahoo! Mail. This new version is a bust. You lost all my other business (domain services) when you implemented this mess. It seems Verizon is going to run Yahoo! out of business with stupid changes.

When moving an email, please get rid of the "Inbox, Archive, Spam, Trash" list and give more space to the list of folders.
Make more folders visible when going to move an email. The List of Inbox, Archive, Spam and Trash cover too much space and they are at the top. Also, decrease the spacing for the folders listed so you can view more folders.

why are there ads in the middle of my emails?
There's all these ads throughout my emails! Why are they there? It's confusing. Put it back to the old format or give us a choice of what we want.

Don't post my phone number on my yahoo screen!
Is anyone responding to problems anymore? I really need to have my phone number taken OFF my yahoo screen. I don't want it to be so easy to see by someone literally passing by.
