Why don't you try giving people who SIMPLY WANT TO CLOSE THEIR ACCOUNT a method that actually works
For those individuals who wish to close their Yahoo accounts, provide a method that does what you say it will do, not one that leads them to the window that shows the message,
"Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later." You must be desperate to keep accounts. I have been trying to get this done for a week with no result. I have a "user@yahoo.es" address. People send me mails to the "user@yahoo.com" alternative all the time. Since it is another dominium I never get those messages.
I couldn't create my address ending yahoo.com, because "I already have the account". Since nobody will ever be allowed to use the same address at the "yahoo.com" dominium, I would like to have the possibility to get those mails at my own "yahoo.com" address.
