  4. Recent phone number porting scams completely compromising 2-step authentication for email & other accounts

    With the recent phone number porting scam happening with carriers such as Verizon, 2 step authentication security can easily be compromised, along with email security. What steps are being taken to protect your customers who may fall victim to phone number porting scams in which hackers have been shown to have full control of a person's stolen phone number, their accounts via 2 step authentication?

    Fox News is, by legal definition, an entertainment company. Either flag it as fictional ‘entertainment’ or remove it from the news feed altogether.

  8. I read an article that compelled me to make a comment.

    I read an article that compelled me to make a comment. There were numerous other comments. I did not have a Yahoo account so I created one to be able to make a comment. Once the account was created, every article had a footnote that indicated it did not want any comments. I'm fairly certain my comment (which was written prior to creating the account) was screened and found out of line with the thoughts of the author. Bye bye Yahoo. I will not be on your website any longer and I was on multiple time per day.

  11. Generating third-party App passwords doesn't work - error message for days now when trying to generate a password for Outlook

    Fix your app generating program and/or make it more user friendly for Outlook users. I'm not going to use my new Yahoo email until I can import it into Outlook.

  13. App Password Generator - No Apps Dropdown Menu

    When trying to generate app password in the Account Security of my yahoo email account, there is no dropdown menu of applications to choose one. When I type the name of the app in the box, in particular 'Outlook Desktop', the following text turns up: 'Sorry, this feature is not available at present.' Could you propose me a feasible solution. I need this feature to use MS Outlook through my yahoo email. Thank you in advance!

    Stop forcing me to change my password and making me do a 2-step authentication just to log onto my Yahoo! account. This is annoying, I didn't ask for this and I don't need this. It's highly annoying and disrespectful, its un-productive and I don't have time for this nonsense. If I ever get hacked, and I've never been hacked before, I'll report it to you guys and we'll go from there. I've never changed my password because I don't give them out to anyone.   15. The "Generate an app password" dialog box is not working.

    There is no pull down menu for the app name. When I fill the app name in manually I get an error message: Sorry, this feature is not available right now.
    It's nice that you have the feature to generate passwords for third party apps, but features that don't work aren't features.

  16. Unable to generate an app password so can't access my email on my desktop at work as yahoo is blocked by admin to prevent searches other tha

    I am unable to access my Yahoo account at work as admin have blocked the site and we can only search using Norton. Since I am a sub-contractor and need access to my Yahoo account they have given permission for me to use Outlook but I am unable to sign in without an app password but the option on my mobile device and home PC is showing as unavailable.

    Is there an alternative way I can sign in to my account using Outlook without a generated app password?
