  3. why can't i add a new celfone nmbr? i keep specifying "Philippines" but yahoo system keeps making the country code "1" for USA

    i can't add another (backup) celfone nmbr for 2-step verification. Your yahoo system keeps making USA the default country code. I am in the Philippines

  5. How to recover account if I can’t log in to my recory email and don’t remember the password. And answer that I receiving is that yahoo can’t

    I can’t log into my yahoo account that was generated 20 years ago in Latvia and I forgot the password and haven’t acces to my recovery email. Only answer that I receive from yahoo is that they can’t verify that account belongs to me. That I can do?

    It is less than helpful to go round in circles for an hour when attempting to reset a password, only then to find that I should have turned off my account key first. Not rocket science to recognise that many people will have no idea about that when they want to change a password to avoid being hacked
