  3. Please work to improve 2 factor authentication with the MS Authenticator app: It stops working for weeks at a time, even with renrollment.

    I was faithfully using 2 factor authentication, as encouraged by Yahoo, but it seems to stop working (at least with authenticator apps such as Microsoft Authenticator). Re-enrollment doesn't appear to work and all codes are rejected as "invalid". Please work to improve this, as it's hard to encourage users to use something that works so unreliably.

  5. The ability to respond to comments is severely lacking, it's basically impossible.

    I don't know why there is a button to reply to a comment when it just directs you back to the comment section and put the most recent comments up top. It almost feels deliberate.

  6. Explain to the 'moderators' that free speech is exactly that, not 'free speech that we like' or 'free speech that we agree with'...

    Anyone know how to get in touch with the 'moderators' to find out how long my time out is going to be in place?
    By the way - National Socialist Party of America v. Village of Skokie, 432 U.S. 43 is a landmark SCOTUS free speech case - putting me in time out for quoting it is absolutely comical.

  8. turn off "detect my location" for weather

    The "Detect my location" for weather is never correct. Just allow users to turn it off and let us use our own list of locations. If someone wants location detection, fine, but don't burden everyone with it.

  10. Generate app password, feature is not working, when it will be fixed...

    I have been trying to generate an app password for Outlook Desktop but there is no drop down for apps and when I manually enter Outlook Desktop I get the message:

    Sorry, this feature is not available at present.

    This is fine but I have been trying now for 2 days and still no joy.

  11. Allow us DIRECT access to converse in Yahoo Comments AGAIN

    For a short while in February, we could read a reply to our comment, then go RIGHT TO that reply to respond. Then the functionality was shut down again.
    Why do we have to scroll through literal HOURS of comments to find something we want to respond to? It's surprising how stupid that is in 2023. Especially when it wasn't like that for a few weeks. Why remove the feature?

  12. I can't sign in easily since I got a new phone!

    Since I got a new phone, I can't sign in using my new phone. I also cannot sign in using my hotmail recovery account. I finally signed in with my gmail account.

    I checked my yahoo account info and the new phone was there. Also, my hotmail account was there.

    What is going on?????
