  4. Are you checking your news articles for trojan horses or hackers? Happened to me many times

    Hacker seem to be getting into your news articles. Many times these people have tried to make me pay them. What are you doing about this?

  5. please make backup option for 2 step verify

    please make multiple 2 step verify option, like as Authenticator app is first, and SMS second as per request. and please make backup 2step code list option like google and fb.

  6. where is my payment info? You didn't even send a message that I was going to be charged!

    I wake up and find that Yahoo debited my bank account.
    No notification.
    You could have sent an email!
    (You do provide an email service; why not use it)
    I have spent a half hour trying to find where my ACCOUNT INFO is located and how I can update my payment information, for example I did not want my bank debited.
    What kind of operation do you have?
    Is it time to convert to GMAIL?

  7. When I changed my password I was not asked to "confirm new password".

    How about a dialog box that asks you to type your new password in again to confirm it.

  9. PLEASE FIX the problem of NOT letting us members to REMOVE/DELETE previously verified Recovery Email Addresses! This is Ridiculous!!! :(

    I have searched through web for the alternative methods, but nothing has really worked.
    I REALLY need to remove my INACTIVE Old email address from my Recovery Email Address list.
    Why Yahoo is NOT FIXING the problem?!?!?!

  10. time zone

    Recently my fantasy baseball schedule times were no longer to my local time zone. Even though all my signed in devices show SD or LA in California, my time zone is showing Chicago. I have precise location on. This is only on browser, luckily the app still shows correct game times.

  15. Use wild cards to control spam

    Set up mail controls to block select email addresses by "type." I don't know anyone in Japan, but I get all kinds of ******** from there. Let me enter @..jp to block ALL emails coming from Japan. Or something from any insurance agency insurance@.com. Go back to the early days of AOL (which you now own) and see how they did it. It worked.

  16. SMS verification codes are not delivered to Iranian phone numbers (+98)

    Describe your idea:
    Yahoo users with Iranian phone numbers (+98) are unable to receive SMS verification codes.

    This prevents users from logging in, recovering their accounts, and completing security verification.

    The issue appears to affect all Iranian mobile operators, and SMS messages are not delivered at all.

    As a solution, please consider providing alternative verification methods such as:

    • Sending verification codes via WhatsApp

    Providing these options would help users regain access to their accounts without relying on SMS.

  18. Support Multiple Yubikeys / 2FA methods to avoid account lockout

    You currently only let us set a single 2FA method.

    That puts as at a much greater risk of account lockout.

    It is standard practice when using Yubikeys to register multiple keys so that if one is lost you can access your account using one of your backup keys, and unregister the lost / stolen key.
