new sort for email
I get so much email from companies trying to sell me stuff or send receipts or just spam that is not recognized as spam. It is much easier for me to sort by sender. I can look quickly at all the brief descriptions and see if it is something to delete. When advertisements or such are mixed with ads or such from other companies I need to stop and look back at the sender each time to see if it is really something to delete or not.

You have to allow for known contacts to go to inbox. It is a known issue as complained about on the reddit forums that your spam filtering is terrible. Known contacts should not go to spam, yet they do.

Where's the empty spam or trash folder buttons now? I keep clicking and its not showing up.

Toxic ads
The email program has ads that show up in line with email messages and some of them try to load viruses. Please get rid of the ads or at least screen them for toxic content

Please Stop With The Annoying 7 Day Inbox Challenges! (I Can't Get Rid of Them-HELP!)
I accidently joined the 7 Day Yahoo Mail inbox challenge on the account I am logged into currently, and now I can't log out! There is a quick way, but you have to go to the Yahoo Mail prompt on the top left of the screen. Than you have about 10 seconds to log out as the challenge goes away before it loads back again Get rid of this NOW!

SEARCH and/or Sort
I am new from transfer from Comcast, that had excellent email sort by (column: name, date, etc) options. I cannot find any such capability on Yahoo. The need is to search by SENDER, etec., so I can see my emails, select the ones I do not want in that group, and delete them. I realize Yahoo sells storage, but this necessary to manage and delete old emails.

Regular Email
Regular email. No conversation, no AI, just regular email like it used to be. Cannot stand email platforms with all the functions and "tools." Want to be helpful? Give me a regular email. If I want to have a "conversation," I will call or test someone. If I wanted AI to filter my email,,, wait I don't!

Eliminate the ads that says "3 MESSAGES" - it is a scam that takes over the screen
I clicked on this ad - I thought it was an email. I didn't even click on a link.
My screen was immediately filled with content that my computer had been infected.
There was also a blaring beeping sound and a warning to not shut down my computer or there would be further damage. I closed my screen but the sound persisted. This was a scary situation for me since I didn't know how to get it off the screen and was 100% sure it was a SCAM. -

Spam folder should show number of emails when hovering
Like the Inbox folder icon, the Spam folder icon should also show the number of emails when hovering over the icon. Showing a small unread emails number on the Spam icon's upper righthand side would be a nice feature too. Currently, I need to open the Spam folder to see if there are any emails. I am using Microsoft Edge browser.

Blocking certain in line ads
I would like a way to block or remove unwanted types of ads such as dating apps and that type of social media. I do not mine ads, just do not care to see certain types of ads I find offensive or not useful to me.

There's a problem deleting emails from the Inbox.
I don't really call the problem with Navigation, but nothing else fits.
Every time I delete an email without opening it, the system opens the next email. I don't want the next email opened! It just started a few days ago, but it's very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please go back to the way it was last week.
