Spam
Why all of a sudden is spam going directly into my regular mail? it is obvious it is spam. Why did this just start happening ? You really need to fix all the spam mail and your blocking system to take care of all this garbage we are trying to block and get rid of and why can't you go check these blocked emails and block them permanently on your end so it frees up our available mail to block ?
Please make sure you are marking these emails as spam instead of just deleting. Also, if they are newsletters please make sure you unsubscribe from these. We will also share this with our anti-spam team. Thank you!

Allow all mailboxes to be sorted by sender
I require the ability to sort through the mailboxes by sender, I cannot now do this.

Hi Charles, you can still sort by sender, but just like the old version, you need to disable Conversation view first under your Settings. We cannot sort by sender when Conversation view is enabled. Once you disable it, a sorting option will be "Sender Name."

Folder Management
When you have a lot of folders and sub folders it takes a lot of time to search and move e-mails to the correct folder. It would be good to have the ability to show all the folders on the left hand side of the screen with collapsable capability or at least the ability to have important folders stared and visible on the left hand navigation side of the screen versus having to search for those folder.

Ads hiding as emails- phishing and hijacking
You have ads hiding as emails. And when you click on them to delete them you get hijacked. This is terrible!
What are you going to do about this mess?

Show ALL emails until moved into specific folders. I have lost all of my inbox emails.

Keep Folder Tree Visible in Sidebar
Yahoo mail used to allow keeping the folder tree visible on the left sidebar when looking at the inbox, that feature has disappeared. This makes it a hassle to manage keeping emails in folders and going back to access them. The feature for adding subfolders is now buried and also more of a hassle. Please put these back to the way they were!!

Auto Delete
"Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All." - Only 100 messages can be selected at a time, requiring you to repeatedly scroll and select in increments of 100. This process is very time-consuming. It would be more efficient to have an option to automatically delete messages from a specific folder after a set number of days.
Hi Eric, actually yes when you do all of the above, it will select 100 but then a small window in the top, middle will appear and ask if you want to delete ALL your emails.

When writing an email. You can't format the email for paragraphs, greetings, signoffs, or anything else. It's just one run-on sentence.Sucks
Make the body of emails being sent formattable. The current one run-on sentence looks terrible, unprofessional, and makes a bad impression on the receiver. As is, I won't be using Yahoo Mail for much of anything slightly important. When the email can start looking like you have an education, instead of a four-year-old writing it, I'll return. For now, I'll see what "Gmail" offers.

Fix a message-selection BUG
Please fix this bug promptly: I'm looking at the Offers category in my Inbox. I see a few adjacent messages that I want to delete. I click the checkbox on the first of these messages, then I hold Shift and click the last of these messages. Mail should select all of the messages between the two that I clicked.
However, Mail selects far more than just those messages. It selects either (1) ALL of the messages from the first that I checked to the last message in the Offers category (if the second message selected was below the first), or…

More Customization
I love Yahoo Mail+, but I would really like to be able to customize the colors...am I just missing something?
Thanks Regina! We currently have no plans in adding more themes and colors to our platforms. We are trying to simplify everything as before when we had a bunch, there was very little usage. As in most of our Community stayed with the default theme. Hope this clarifies!

Second request - please fix the broken "Block all Senders" function
I previously opened an earlier issue about how your "Block all Senders" function in the Spam folder automatically calls a "Delete all emails" function that operates EXTREMELY slowly.
I noticed that the behavior of that function has now changed - it is still just as SLOW as it always has been, but now it also... does not actually Delete anything.
The popup appears, says it is a deleting all emails, then... absolutely nothing happens. The emails are still there.
Please fire the moron who "wrote" this code sloppily copy/pasted from an AI chatbot and hire someone who knows how to…
The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!

Paragraphs in mobile app
Dear All,
When replying to or composing a new message in Yahoo Mail mobile app all paragraphs are being removed and the message is displayed and sent like one long line. This is highly inconvenient, please fix this as soon as possible.

do something about the spam increase
HOw many times do I have to label senders as SPam? I keep getting the same over And over, and recently I've gotten many times more Spam emails, really irritating. Can't you permanently block them? That's what computers are for.

Where are my old Emails?!
It seems you deleted all old Mails in my Yahoo-Account. WTF? Where are they? Some of them contained precious memories.
If your account has had no activity for 365 days, then the account is deactivated. We communicate this a few times which includes sending you an email to your alternative email account, so make sure that is updated. If you need help reinstating, contact our CC team at help.yahoo.com. They have the tools to help with these issues. Hope this helps!

Formatting incorrect when bullet points used
I have received a few emails where people have either used bulleted lists or either copied and pasted bullet items from a word foc and the formatting in the email is all over the place.
Items overlap and it is not clear to see where bullet points begin and end. It is like they are showing in a columnar table format rather than a bulleted list. The text overlaps the bullet points and it is almost impossible to discern which text belongs to which point. I can provide screenshots.

Move Archive to main toolbar on selected emails
The two most common actions on an email are delete and archive. Why do we have Archive buried behind an extra click? There's plenty of room in the toolbar next to Move to add an archive button.
