WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. You Can't Improve

    New Yahoo Mail is terrible. It's obvious Yahoo cannot improve mail, so please give an option to go back to old mail. New Yahoo Mail layout is terrible and extremely slow.

  2. change back to old yahoo mail, or at least give us the option to.

    this version of the new yahoo mail is absolutely horrible. you are about to lose a longtime user. this new mail is unacceptable, way too slow and takes too long to load.

  3. Alphabetize folders and subfolders, eliminate ads

    Add alphabetize as one of the filters.

  9. give me back the old email

    Can I please just have me old email back. Every time you update it you make it worse. I want the classic good ol yahoo email. You just keep trying to make it better and it only gets worse. Please stop.

  10. POP access

    Please update your documentation to make my mailbox accessible with Thunderbird (POP3 protocol) again. I cannot use the web interface as it is too much to have different interfaces for all my mailboxes. Thunderbird is the right solution

  11. I donkt have temporary email adress

    I buy yahoo mail + but i dont have 500 temporary email adress. Can you fix my email ?

  12. Snooze option

    Please give us the ability to snooze an email (make it disappear from inbox, move to a "special" folder) and come back automatically in the inbox folder after a customizable period of time.

  13. I Want to See a Numerical Number of Unread Messages Immediately When I Open my Inbox, Not Hover Over the Inbox Icon

    I want to be able to see the number of unread messages when I open my inbox. I should not have to hover over the inbox icon to see them. My newer Yahoo Mail account has this feature, My older Yahoo Mail account does not. Please make the number of unread messages instantly available when the inbox is opened for all new Yahoo Mail accounts! Thank you!

  15. Add additional e-mail account with it's folders to left pane.

    Having the option to see multiple e-mail accounts and their unread messages in one screen is a must. Without that option i will be forced to use a third-party solution.

  16. Priority Email Preview Icons

    The extra icon options (listed below) block the preview of each individual email when hovering over or scrolling.

    Please REMOVE THESE ICONS or provide an option to DISABLE them:

    • add to calendar

    • view bill

    • view schedule

    • manage order

  17. I'm going back to the old email until the default "priority" is removed. Default should be "all".

    Default should be "all". I'll decide when to view priority tab.
