Get rid of the garbage that are the streaks.
Remove all of the gamification garbage that has been added. I do not use my email to create streaks, I use it to get information from different people and websites. Dealing with streaks makes my life more difficult.
Yes, we launched a fun way to reward our users for reading and organizing your emails, but you do not have to participate (not forced). Friendly reminder to always check your Settings. You can disable Streaks by going to the three dots "..." in the left hand navigation and then Your Streaks. Thanks.

to many ads
not happy with YAHOO, customer service sucks, all around awful experience and pain to get to my email, I'm looking for a new email provider, too many pop up ADS!
Hi there, we do not have pop up ads. Where are you seeing these? Can you send us a screenshot of these pop up ads? We do have ads on our platform, but they rotate and stay in the same place. They do not pop up while you're checking your email. Thanks!

I do not need push messages disturbing my workflow. When I go through emails, I am focused and in the flow. You're disrupting my work.

No ads
I can't believe Yahoo is putting email alerts for advertising. If you don't remove this, I will switch to using only my google account. I am not paying to have no ads on my email. That is ridiculous.
Hi Tom, we do not have email alerts for advertising. Are you referring to notifications? We do have a promo upgrade pop up if you delete an ad, but that is by design. If you do not delete an ad, you do not get this pop up.

I hate it, please stop it
I pay for the premium without ads, and you just post something else in the email. Lets be honest, its just another ad, so..what am I paying for?
Screenshot attached so you can target the exact thing Im talking about. If ad-less premium is what Im paying for and your just going to try to slip an ad in and make it look like a gift, then I would like you to be honest and say there is no such thing as ad-less email. I can then go somewhere else for my email.

You think, if you keep sending me distasteful Ads, I will subsribe to Ad free. Think again; some adds are good and useful items and ideas, some are the biggest frauds, some to shows how low the human race has stooped (degraded). We need to know all walks of life. Knowledge, good are bad is power.
I am OK with with Ads for now. You need better tactics. You are one of the great companies; I chose you over Google for my seconday email. Stay great!!!Great! We are not trying to do anything, let alone have you upgrade. We are happy to have you as a Yahoo Mail user, whether you're a Yahoo Mail plus subscriber or not!

Ads provider (Google?) is giving bottom of the barrel ads with nudity
Yahoo, this is a really ****** ad. You should talk to your ad provider; they are giving you the bottom of the barrel. I'm happy to share a screenshot - the advertiser is **** Shoes, and one is an image with heels, the other is one of a woman's bare bottom. This doesn't match Yahoo's brand identity or audience.

Email Ads
I accidentally clicked on one of the ads this morning and immediately got a message saying my computer had been hacked. The message said I had three unread emails and my computer started beeping after I clicked on it. I had to close down my browser and reboot before restarting my PC. I thought you would want to know about this.

Stop Showing Inappropriate Ads
The ads that you display on your website are disgusting. I get that you are trying to have people sign up for the "ad free" version, but showing nothing but adult content in your ads is inappropriate. There are children that use this service.

Spam filters
I would like to be able to open Yahoo mal and not have 25 -40 spam emails in the inbox. Ever since I switched this is what i get every day.
Are these legit junk emails or newsletter/promotional type emails from stores, etc? Big difference. For legit spammy emails, please "mark as spam" instead of deleting. For other coupon/promotional type emails like from stores, unsubscribe, at one point (even if you don't remember) you subscribed to these emails. Hope this helps!

Ad in Yahoo Mail contains a virus
The Advertisement titled 3 New Messages should be removed. I accidentally clicked on it and it contained a virus that froze the browser and locked my screen with a message to call a phone number that spoofed Microsoft Support and I needed to call them to get it "removed", classic phishing style. I ignored the warning it gave about restarting my computer and did it. I immediately ran my legitimate virus scanning software and nothing was found.

Ads hiding as emails- phishing and hijacking
You have ads hiding as emails. And when you click on them to delete them you get hijacked. This is terrible!
What are you going to do about this mess?

Eliminate the ads that says "3 MESSAGES" - it is a scam that takes over the screen
I clicked on this ad - I thought it was an email. I didn't even click on a link.
My screen was immediately filled with content that my computer had been infected.
There was also a blaring beeping sound and a warning to not shut down my computer or there would be further damage. I closed my screen but the sound persisted. This was a scary situation for me since I didn't know how to get it off the screen and was 100% sure it was a SCAM. -
SERIOUS PROBLEM -- SECURITY ISSUE
Some of the links in Yahoo mail and some of the ads trigger a "Helpdesk Windows Support" take over of the browser. The take over changes browser settings.
One more thing, there is no longer a clear way to report security issues to Yahool

Blocking certain in line ads
I would like a way to block or remove unwanted types of ads such as dating apps and that type of social media. I do not mine ads, just do not care to see certain types of ads I find offensive or not useful to me.
