not liking the new email format. I don't feel it's user friendly. I've been trying to email files to my CPA and it keeps saying not the correct format. However if I send the files from my husband's email and NO Problem. I want the old format back, a lot more user friendly. Not Impressed!!!

Maybe you can give us actual humans who can help when we have a problem
I have nowhere else to put this, and I'd appreciate it if someone got back to me. I'm unable to load word docs onto emails and send them, as an error message comes up instead (and I'm a freelancer that needs to in order to send out billing). Nothing on the Yahoo help page has any useful suggestions. (I've already cleaned my caches for both my browser and my device, rebooted multiple times, updated browsers, changed browsers, changed devices, etc). What I need is a person to help me. Please advise.

There is so much wrong with this, I don't know where to start!!!
- it seems the reason for your change was to use 1/3 of my screen for that ad on the right side!
- When I set up my choices way back when, they worked for me, and still would if you would let me be.
- You didn't give me an option...you hi-jacked my account and forced me into this new email garbage.
- The color choices and changed layout makes it very hard to read and file my emails.
- I used to be in one of my 4 email accounts, and could easily change to the others with a click of the mouse.…

Privacy
It's pretty bad that you cannot make you're name invisible to recipients of your email.
I think it suffices with the email address... -

See my descrption.
The left column of the interface should be adjustable in width by dragging its border, whereas currently it can only be made visible or invisible.
On the right side of the interface, I would like the panel displaying contacts to always display its contents, whereas currently its contents are cleared each time.
When moving messages from one folder to another, the search field for the destination folder should always be activated without having to click on it, whereas currently it is sometimes active (clickable) and sometimes not; I don't understand how.
It would be very helpful to have confirmation of… -
email subject does not need to appear twice when writing an email
The headings--subject appears twice, sender, receiver, cc bc is 6 fat lines with big spaces inbetween--it takes up vertically HALF THE SCREEN and doesn't leave much room to write and read what you are typing! There is no reason to waste this much screen space that doesn't need to be fixed where you cannot scroll down past it. This is just poor placement and poor design.

Problems with e-mail sending.
I tried to sent an e-mail to an address that had the german letter 'ü', however I couldn't do it as the system took it as a wrong address. I haven't tried to send anything to another email with country-specific letters or symbols but I believe this is an issue, that should be addressed.

I need to be able to print unsent emails so I can edit them offline.
When typing a new email, there is no print icon - there is no way to print an unsent email.

Create options to turn off keyboard shortcuts and identify Primary/non-Primary messages
Dear Yahoo email team,
I like the new version overall but have a couple of feature requests:
PLEASE make it possible to turn off the keyboard shortcuts. When I am writing a message, the compose tool is frequently thinking that I want to delete a message or simply takes me out of a message entirely for reasons I don't know. My guess is that I am bumping the control key when I am reaching for shift but I am not sure that is the reason. Anyway, I hardly ever use the shortcuts anyway. If I could just turn them off…

Web - mail subject is empty unless focus is changed before sending
Repro:
1. Click "New message"
2. Fill in any recipient in the "To" box
3. Enter some subject like "Test"
4. Immediately click "Send"
Result: the email subject will be blankThe bug is that the subject is only populated in the outgoing message if between steps (3) and (4) above you change the active element focus - e.g. after typing in the subject, you press TAB or click the email body text box and only then click "Send"

No way to copy an email
I have emails in my address book. But when I want to send someone that email address there is no way to copy it over from the email screen. And finding the address book some other way seems to be impossible. Which means I have to hand copy and email over which I cant do easily because when I click away yahoo mail also makes it disappear. So how am I suppose to easily copy an email address when needed? This is a basic feature Gmail and outlook all provide but for some reason the new Yahoo makes this almost…

Please make keyboard shortcuts optional or give us option to toggle them on or off
I have accidentally sent half-finished emails because of the keyboard shortcuts. I really don't like this feature.

whats up with contact suggestions?
contact suggestions have been pretty rough. I can’t find my recently used contacts easily, and the @mention option in compose is just… gone.

Drag and drop attachments
It takes me ages now to add attachments, why take the drag and drop feature away!
-
multiple attachments at once
Previously I could attach multiple files by selecting them from their folder, new mail has me attaching them one at a time. very inefficient when I have a folder with an invoice and packing slip files side by side and can no longer box both at once for attachment. Same thing where I need to attach multiple photos, 1 at a time, very inefficient attaching process. Too many repetitive process extra clicks, do you not beta test this junk before just dumping it on us?

Display previews of attachments beside email textbox
When I click on attachments to preview them, they appear through overlay that has to be clicked out of instead of appearing beside the email message as it was in the old yahoo mail.
Being able to view them beside my email message made cross-checking and referencing information from the attachments much easier instead of having to close and open the preview each time.
This would also be a more efficient use of space on for desktop users who have ample horizontal display space for such a layout.
