WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Update and/or return to the old method of deleting in bulk

    I cannot stand that you lost the option to check all unread at the top so I can delete the ones I don't need. Please bring it back or I will migrate everything to GMAIL.

  2. select multiple messages

    I used to be able to select a range of emails to delete by using the shift button. I don't want to select every email on the page, maybe just the first 10. I don't want to have to click each one individually.

  3. Mass Delete needs to stay easy to find and execute!

    I want to be able to do mass deletes, but I'm not seeing that option anymore. Please, please, make this easy to find

  4. delete requires moving cursor off emails in sequence

    It seems now (this seems to be a new problem, not present in the new Yahoo Mail before a couple days ago) that to delete emails out of your inbox in sequence - delete, then delete the next message that moves up - you need to move the cursor off and move it back on again to get the trash can icon to appear. This is annoying and prevents rapid deleting of emails. Using the latest version of Firefox.

  5. Why does email list on left go back to the top (most recent email) after I delete an email?

    Why when I delete an email, my email list on the left goes back to my most recent email. I want to go down each email look at it then determine if I want to delete individual emails. I don't want the email list to go back to the most recent. I sometimes want to go through a hundred of emails to review and delete. The email list always before stayed where I last left off after each delete. Either fix this problem or or let me go back to the old format which I have been using for years.

  6. deleting multiple e-mails from inbox

    I really miss the ability to delete multiple e-mails from the inbox. Please bring back the ability to delete inbox e-mails 100 at a time. Once again, I am going to say how much I HATE the new e-mail. In addition to the inability to delete multiple e-mails, there is the issue of the misleading, unnecessary, absurd summaries. I see that you claim that the ability to disable summaries is coming soon. I do hope it comes before I finish switching my e-mail to google.

  7. Clean up tool

    Create a way to clean up whole categories of emails, e.g. news alerts from NYT, etc.

  8. Select All

    Bring back the select all button. With the new format it has disappeared. If I can't mass delete, my account will be deleted instead. Don't have the time to individually select hundreds of messages.

  10. Bring back the select all button

    I don't see the icon I could click to select all messages for deleting. I hate having to delete all messages one at a time.
