Your people haven't 'improved' it at any time you've tried to update it. It has rendered it unable to be used on a laptop when you have your zoom level up or with larger text. Which has been a problem since around 2005 or so when you tried to make 'new mail' a thing the first time. You guys are against those of us with vision problems. You've made it absolutely unusable for us. You arbitrarily switch us off our chosen mail settings to get feedback, which I'm sure a lot of it is swearing at you for it, for your lack of improvements. The fiddly bits aren't worthwhile or usable or reasonable. No one's going to use them, especially not me. Because of your ad spaces to the side, it's stretched the screen sideways for no reason. You've made it unusable. Again. So let me switch back immediately. Quit forcing us to switch this way from here on out. You're not innovating, you're annoying the users so we quit using the yahoo mail service. It's gone well past the point where it's not worth the free price. I've known that since 2005 and it's not gotten any better in the last twenty years. So JUST STOP IT! And please let me switch back immediately. I hate using the site on my phone but you've left me no choice since I don't have options to switch back. I'm about to sue you for how pathetic this is in relation to those of us with vision problems as it's now constituting a block on using your service, which is supposedly handicap accessible. Let me switch back immediately, okay? Thanks.

Everything. Basic mail works and has what i want. It's always had what I want. It's the format I want to keep it as. I DO NOT WANT 'NEW' MAIL! EVER! QUIT SWITCHING US AGAINST OUR WILLS! If i had wanted 'new' mail i would've chosen it myself. Instead, it's now unusable. Too much ad space, too many problems, too much little fiddly bits that mean NOTHING to anyone or anyone is going to use. So QUIT SWITCHING US! Leave it alone!

Your 'new' thing is ALWAYS a problem for those of us with vision difficulties! If your text is zoomed more than 90 percent or your font size is more than 10pts, which is unreadable, then it stretches to the right horrifically. Mostly the ad box but the stuff at the top can be important sometimes. I want and need my basic mail back so i an actually use your service.
I've noted this since 2005! You still haven't fixed it! It's been two decades of you hampering us using your service. I thought for sure it was planning to take the platform out but it's the longest dying streak ever if you are. I've noted for two decades that you've made it so unusable in the 'new' versions that it's not worth the free price. And it's still not. This update is nothing new and even worse than it was with the last update.
So, PLEASE, let me switch back to basic mail so i can actually access my email in a way that works! With a font and zoom level that actually works. LEAVE US ALONE! WE DON'T WANT THAT IF WE'RE ON BASIC MAIL. WE DON'T WANT THOSE 'FEATURES' THAT HAVE NO USE TO ALMOST ANYONE WHO'S COMPUTER LITERATE. JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!
