Hi there, thank you for submitting feedback! We pushed the new layout a while ago and have been slowly migrating users. The migration is almost complete.
We see a lot of 'Compact View' feedback so we wanted to gather more feedback!
When looking at your Inbox, we have in the top, right hand side, the sorting icon. From there you can change the Inbox Spacing to: Small, Medium, Large. (Screenshot provided). Same under More > Settings > Appearance (Screenshot provided)
So our question to you:
- Are you not seeing these Settings/Choices?
- You DO see them, but you want it even more Compact? How compact is our question?

In the new interface scrolling down by the mouse wheel brings me back up to the top of the list! The same problem happens when scrolling with page down. Generally when I wanted to see the bottom message I would scroll down until the list stopped moving. Now that never happens as the list cycles to the top again. If I scroll down with the down arrow on the keyboard that does not happen. Please fix this. This is very annoying as I can effectively no longer use the mouse wheel to scroll down.

The new interface wastes 1/3 of the screen. I used to see the selected email in the right side of the screen. That was very convenient. Now that screen part is reserved for... nothing. I cannot extend the message preview pane to cover the right part of the screen as there is a completely useless thing there that cannot be eliminated. On that right 1/3 of the screen I can choose to show calendar (useless), or contacts (again useless) or click "more" and receive a message that "more" means only notes... that have been discontinued! WTF? You waste1/3 of screen space to show the "more" option that can access only one thing that no longer exists? What?

I used to see lots of messages on the screen in the compact view. Lots of emails on thin lines. Now the Lines are thicker, wasting lots of space and there is no option to compact them. I guess I can now see about less than half of what I used to see. Please let me switch back to old interface OR allow a compact view in the new interface.
