Several years back, Yahoo used the IR slot only for season ending IR. It got changed because people complained that they wanted more flexibility, like ESPN. Yahoo gave them what they want.

What's "wrong" is you don't know your league settings. This is a basic one, and obviously the 2 commishes involved used different settings on whether teams not in the playoffs can still make waiver claims.

You can't be serious. I think they're kind of fun, but how specific do you want them to get considering you pay nothing for this service? I don't care if they're bots, because they do a good job of correlating the data.

Know your settings, people. In private leagues, this is a commish decision and it's easy found in league settings.

Guys, every free platform operates like this. Yahoo software is integrated with official stats and stat corrections. They kick in in real time when they become official. It sucks if you lose a close game, but this isn't lazy employees not getting it done. Also, nobody is getting "screwed".

What everyone needs to remember is that there are all sorts of dishonest commishes out there and too much flexibility just helps them cheat. Why would you need to reseed them weekly anyway? You have the option to stick with original seeding or to reseed based on results.

Tell your commish to disable it or don't join leagues w/ this setting. It's there to help out people with lots of strangers in a new league, because it prevents collusion. Most of us commishes disable this, but I get why it's there.

For leagues with a custom draft order, there's an easy fix. Just use final league standings for all non-playoff teams. I've been doing this for 15 years.

Most don't agree with you, because most leagues use D/ST. However, in private leagues, the commish can opt out of that scoring. It's a basic D/ST setting. So Yahoo doesn't have to change anything for you to get what you want.
