commentedI believe, to keep my sanity, that Yahoo comments have a filter that will delete/drop a comment if it has certain words or combination of words.
Like if I posted..." I was at the the zoo and I watched a monkey with shinny black fur eat a banana."
With the words black, monkey and zoo would trip the censor to drop my post.

commentedI'd like to know why my posts are not posting. They appear to but upon return to same page moments later post is gone. Why? I'm just trying to find out why no one can tell me why my comments appear to post but upon return to the same place moments later my posts are gone. If I've violated "policy" then no one has bothered to notify me that such was done. Do you have an answer for me Yahoo?

commentedI am being censored for some reason. By this, I mean that I posted a comment and then it failed to actually show up. I feel that whatever commenting rules you have in place are not accessible.

commentedWhatever auto-censor function is being used, it's absurd and offensive the way it works. I've had comments deleted immediately after I hit Return, for no good reason I can figure. Others have complained about such censorship--that it's excessive, subjective and inconsistent in what it chooses to delete or replace words with the symbol gibberish in. I used the common word "kook" in a comment, for example, and had the auto-censor change that word to a bunch of symbols. It's NOT a vulgar or offensive word but a commonly used description of someone who's mentally unhinged. I also tried repeatedly to post the following comment and had it deleted even when I modified one or two words I thought might be triggering the auto-censor to delete it without good reason: " What a disgusting monster and authoritarian wannabe in the White House. This sickening swamp creature needs to be impeached and removed asap." I've seen comments much more violent or vulgar appear without censorship, while my comment was deleted. It's ridiculous and creates a sense that the auto-censor is arbitrary and has ridiculous trigger words built into it. How about actually dealing with this and responding to the complaints from users?

commentedYes, they delete my posts all the time, but I should have FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Let my commetns be drowned out by the negative commentary from people -- if people disagree. Just because I don't like some people in this America of mine (that aren't like me), doesn't mean that my comments have to disappear. Censoring my negativism is not what America needs. I am making it great by helping people to want to leave America.

commentedGo back to comments the way they used to be!!! Stop trying to censor us!!! We used to be able to go back and view our comments, and any additional comments other readers would make. Why did you stop? This current system is a large part of why you keep losing users!! Tell me, has any idea you people have used increased users? Or merely added to your quick demise? I have used Yahoo since its inception, I hate seeing you go downhill. Stop this madness.
