Videos are off-center: can see only the left half. Obviously ads are more important than providing a good webpage.
Can see only left half of video feeds. Other part of screen is black. Obviously it's more important to Yahoo to get the ads right than to provide a competent webpage of news. Time for me to try out a different browser.

Two other things are germane in this trouble:
1. Many people do not have a widescreen monitor.
2. Some people choose a lower screen resolution because they have problems with vision.

This is caused by using frames in the web page. Frames make the display of the page dependent on having a certain screen resolution.
This is why the World Wide Web Consortium deprecated frames over 10 years ago. Yet, idiot programmers (or their idiot bosses) still want them.
