Loud ****** music over videos, Auto plays commercials then something goes wrong with video.
Oh, what ever happened to verbal commentary on a NEWS video. Instead we are forever treated to ****** overtly loud, ******, elevator music That has nothing to do with said video or news story. WHY?
All of your ads play fine but the videos themselves don't. Why?

"My comments" in yahoo news does not work anymore. Others have same problem. Yahoo needs to fix . Problem independent of browser or IP address.

It would be wonderful if you would drop articles on celebrities, fashion, tv shows, and movies.
It would be wonderful if you would drop articles on celebrities, fashion, tv shows, and movies. When I pop onto the Yahoo site the front page looks more like the cover for a gossip magazine. I want real news and up to date information as to what is going on in the world. If you want to cater to that kind of stuff then move it to a separate page and let us who care about what is going on in the real world easy access to just that information.

Yahoo! News needs to keep your place when trying to return to the news feed after reading an article.
After reading an article and trying to return to the main Yahoo! News page you are put right back to the beginning of the page, forcing you to scroll through the LONG list to figure out where you were.
I've reported this issue before and it persists so I have switched to reading Google News. Just thought I would be nice and report the annoying glitch in case you actually read these reports and act on them. Clearly you do not.743rd ranked -
Gewt rid of the abnoxious "music.
Get rid of the obnoxious "music" that plays with some stories. Makes the story unreadable. I click right off the story if that horrible music starts to play.

News where it belongs
Put the news in the proper category, sports in sports, celebs and entertainment in entertainment and so on. I am not a sports or celebrity fan. Your current format just crams the site with garbage i am not interested in. If i want certain news i will look for it.

I would like more articles fact checking the lies by public officials.
Never before has there been so much inaccurate and misleading information coming out the mouth and media accounts of our political leaders. Your on-top news articles are annoying.
When I click on a news article I get a yahoo page with the article on that page in a sort of "box" with an "X" at the top-right. I don't see the purpose in this. Why not have the page be the article? Let's say I go to another screen and want to return focus to the browser with your news article on it. If I click on any area outside that "box" the article disappears and I'm looking at a news page. Stop showing the same trivial notifications repeatedly for 6+ months!
I commented on an opinion article last January and Yahoo Notifications keeps including a troll's response to my post as if it is something important that I need to be reminded of 100+ times. It is not! Please stop showing old and worthless information in my Notifications Yahoo! Thank you.

Quit having me click twice or more!
When I click an article to read, I don't want to have to click another link to 'read more'. Why do you think I clicked the link in the first place, to hopefully have to click more links? I immediately leave the page and never look back. Same with a full page ad, I just close the browser window and move on. If you want readers to stay on your site maybe you could make it easier without the annoyance of redundant clicking.

I click on articles to READ them NOT WATCH them. I am sick of clicking on a text headline online to be taken to a video. If you offer it in video, offer it in text too!! If I click on a headline and it takes me to a video I immediately close it.

Sponsored "articles" are ruining my Yahoo experience.
I have been a faithful Yahoo user since the 90s. One used to be able to find the account date in account information, but that seems to have moved, I know my account dates back to at least 1998 and I have been on Yahoo daily since that time.
I used to spend time browsing headlines and clicking through to read many articles from your home page. However since the inception of sponsored content, I avoid the Yahoo home page.
