  2. Fix the broken moderation

    Fix the broken moderation system. I had a comment rejected today in which I did nothing but clarify a definition that was being used in regard to the article. No snark, no hate, just a simple clarification.

    That got rejected, but an incoherent, all caps comment about chemtrails was allowed

    Another moderation problem is that openly racist comments are allowed. Lots of them. Every story involving a criminal or suspect who's black gets flooded by racists posting whatever they want.

    Main suggestion: replace OpenWeb.They can't even manage to provide basic message board functionality, much less competent moderation.

  6. Please stop leading with Newman “opinion” articles!

    You often lead with articles ( or rants would be a better description) by Newman who obviously does not like Donald Trump. The problem is 75 million Americans do like him and he will be our next President. He whines and attacks Trump relentlessly. It is disturbing to see and it turns me away from Yahoo finance. I can’t take your organization seriously because of your bias with regard to Newman!!

  7. Why can't I sign in to my account? It takes 30 minutes jumping from one Yahoo page to another to finally be able to login. Please fix it!!

  8. Please make the Yahoo.com homepage customizable. Eiliminating my.yahoo.com is a bad decision. please reconsider this. Thanks.

    Please don't eliminate the my.yahoo.com. If you must please allow yahoo.com homepage to be customized. It doesn't have to be customized as much as my.yahoo.com but some customizing content like my sports teams would be great. Thanks.

  10. Configure news readers in "new" yahoo

    I use myyahoo because I can configure my news sources and not have "the algorithm" choose news articles for me. It appears that myyahoo is going away, and the "new" yahoo is not configurable in the same way. Is there a way for me to select news sources, other than by trying to train the algorithm by "liking" or not "liking" specific articles?

  11. I see nothing on your NEW YAHOO that I can control and a lot of stuff I don't even use or even want to see. What are you doing?

    You are screwing up offering a non-changeable Home page the viewer can't create. There are other Home pages offered from other sites, you know ...

  12. Make sure you give us the option to delete news sources we know are lying to us or are spreading propaganda.

    Put an option by each news article to allow the reader to delete the story one ones like it ,i.e. cute kitten or animal stories, the new source if we believe the source is false or spreading propaganda, or topics like celebrities, sports, medicine.

  13. Keep MyYahoo until New Yahoo is customizable

    New Yahoo doesn't work for me. My Yahoo could be customized to put what I want in consistent places (stocks, BBC News, mail previews, etc). I don't want random news/ads pushed to me. If this doesn't change I'll find another home page to use instead.

  14. Please keep a way to pick what you want to see in the New Yahoo.

    Please make the new Yahoo have a way to be able to pick the things that people want to see. I like MY Yahoo page that I have now. And looking at the New Yahoo page. There are things on it that I have NO INTEREST IN ORWANT TO SEE. And I'd like to be able to pick what I want to see and follow. And NOT have to see things that I have NO INTEREST IS SEEING. Just a suggestion.

  16. Don't turn off comment sections early in th game

    This is in regards to the article, LAWMAKERS REACT TO GOVERNER PRITZKER'S LINE IN THE SAND FOR TRUMP ADMINISTRATION posted on Nov 22, 2024.
    I made a comment that was followed up by an individual that I would like to reply to, However, the commenting section has ended with a mere 1.5k comments. I have read countless articles that have had 2.5k comments. Therefore, I would like an explanation as to why this comment section has been turned off?

  18. comments will not post

    After hundred if not thousands of complaints on comment s not being posted, yahoo still doesn't get it. What's really bad is sometimes a comment goes thru but then another one on another news article fails.
