Scoring - Maximum Innings Pitched option for Head-to-head leagues
Requests to add maximum innings pitched requirements for H2H leagues. Currently, this feature isn't supported in H2H leagues.

Seems like there are many features for the commissioner that have not been done and this seems like it would be an easy one. It also seems like it is causing lots of people to leave Yahoo and my league is definitely one that is looking into this option.

I disagree. In this day and age of daily fantasy people like to stream pitchers and get 2 start pitchers for the week. The most active of owners have no problem with this. If anything, have a competitive/active stream league setting and a lazy/non-active league setting for those who are just casual users at best.

Max innings limit or a limit on starts by pitchers

Why not set a weekly transaction limit?

Max innings pitched for weekly head to head matchups is needed. Very simple, scoring for pitching category stops once inning limit is met.

Agreed, we have had people quit because of 1 or 2 guys that stream like madmen during the playoffs. Totally not cool and although I like some of the rules you guys have put in place, it would be better if Yahoo just set up a max innings pitched option in H2H. I'm also going to say that IF you are found streaming during the playoffs, your team will be locked. Just hate that I have to watch over it this closely. Come on Yahoo, please listen to the user community.

This is for sure an issue in our league, would be awesome if this could be fixed

I agree that a max innings setting for H2H would be great. As a workaround, our league has been using the following rule: "Any newly acquired SP must remain on that team's roster for at least 7 days, unless he gets injured or sent down in which case he may be moved to a DL/NA spot."
We still use/like daily transactions for hitters and relievers, so our 7-day SP rule is not enforced by Yahoo. It's just a tiny bit of additional work for the commish/owners who simply keep an eye on the transactions log in case an owner accidentally drops an SP during the 7-day period.
We settled on 7 days because it allows owners to try to grab 2-start pitchers for each weekly matchup, but it has really helped with the streaming issues we've had in the past.

Huge problem that will result in my league of 5 years leaving Yahoo if this is not addressed ASAP

This needs to be implemented or at least the ability to combine max acquistions per week along with the ability to control the amount of SP's allowed on a team.

We have the exact same issue, people just pick up pitchers, and its a huge edge if a pitcher has more than one start in a week

Unfortunately we will be moving to ESPN due to this not getting resolved. A total joke that this isn't an option.

This has been the biggest issue in our league for years. I understand the issues with a max innings setting, but attempting to add and start as many starters as possible is a bigger issue for us

There needs to be an option to set a maximum number of innings pitched in weekly head 2 head categories baseball leagues

Add MAXIMUM innings pitched PER WEEK in Head 2 Head leagues. This way managers can not "stream" pitchers.
They can not add and drop pitchers every single day just to inflate their K's and W's to take those categories (ERA and WHIP may not be cared about).
Especially with a cap on player acquisitions... if one team is capped it is unfair advantage for another team to abuse pickups only to gain stats the other team can not reciprocate.
Teams should try to win with their team and not pickups daily. Also, would like to adjust settings for ONLY PLAYOFFS as well. As commissioner, i watch pickups during playoffs because we agreed to only allow 2 pitchers per week and 5 batters per week.. This has helped streaming a little but having the option in league settings is vital.
both of these settings together should stop everything.
PLEASE MAKE THIS CHANGE ASAP!!!

I came here for this exact thing!!! streaming is incredibly hurtful to overall enjoyment and "fairness" of our league.
We have daily lineup changes and a cap on maximum player acquisitions for the season. This means one team can "stream" pitchers daily against another team who has no pickups left and that team takes K and W easily.
It would be ideal to set a max on pickups as well for different positions! Example: maximum pickups for pitchers during playoffs is 2 per week. Batters is 5 per week. -

This is needed so badly! An innings limit would also work. Ideally commissioners would have the option of doing either. I think everyone knows the problem and anyone who has ever played a weekly format knows the problem. Why isn't it fixed!!??

Weekly H2H format needs a max innings pitched rule. H2H is not workable with daily rosters because people will stream pitchers and you'll get 30 starts a week. HOWEVER, with a maximum innings pitched and preferably, a maximum games from batters setting too, it would be workable. It would still be workable only with the innings limit. Right now H2H points needs weekly rosters which is hardly workable with the new DL rules and all that ****. I am getting crushed in at bats every week cause I have multiple players get nagging injuries and I can't change my batting lineup.

This is exactly the change I came to request. A maximum IP option in H2H categories would solve a lot of issues. A maximum Games Started option would solve everything.
A previous commenter suggested limiting waiver moves per week. We did that, and it did help a bit. But teams can still sell out other positions to overfill their benches with SPs (ie, roster no RPs or catchers).
Thanks Yahoo, make that add please.
