Drafts - Allow lineup edits in draft client
Requests to allow managers to edit their lineup in the draft client. Currently, when a player is drafted, they're inserted into the first eligible roster position on the side bar in the draft client and they can't be moved to another eligible position. Allowing managers to do this would help them get a better understanding of their roster construction and how their starting lineup may actually look.

wow blows my mind that my comments from years ago are still on this useless feedback post....

We have been asking for this functionality for YEARS, however Yahoo seems to want to focus on betting.

An example of say Mookie Betts who has eligibility at OF/2B/SS. If his primary position is OF but when I draft him, I want him to fill the SS position, the draft won’t do that. He directly goes to OF. I want the ability once drafted to move him to either eligible position. Not be stuck at OF. Being able to move players in your already drafted list will help with strategy and knowing what positions you have left to draft for.

This is so long overdue. I can’t believe it’s not available yet.

I have been asking for years for this to happen and what does Yahoo do? Add a bunch of stats that nobody gives a **** about. C'mon YaPoo.... make this happen in 2022

Managers should be able to move a player with multiple position eligibility to a different position than the one that Yahoo auto adds them to during the draft. We would be able to drag and drop the player to the position we draft them form not the one that Yahoo sticks them in automatically. Very easy to set this up so why on Earth do we need to ask every year? Improve your product instead of adding stats that nobody cares about... you have too many overthinkers on your staff.

I’d like to be able to adjust my roster in the draft room instead of it automatically placing my backup in the starting lineup and moving Yelich to my bench. It would be helpful to be able to place multi-position players in the position where I’ll be using them as well.

PLEASE! Do this! It's totally absurd to not allow it. Will it EVER even adjust it? Let's say I have for some reason a 3 player roster hypothetically with 3 positions, 1B, OF, U. If I draft Bellinger (1B/OF) with my first pick, it will slot him in to 1B, If I pick Rizzo with my 2nd pick it will slot him into my U. I should be able to pick another 1B only with my 3rd pick. Can I or will it force me to pick an outfielder even though my roster was legal under the (admittedly strange) league rules? This isn't really an unlikely scenario.

Allow user to change player slot during the draft. If a player has multiple position eligibility such as 1B/OF, the owner should choose where he is put in your team during the draft. That way I can draft around what I've picked, not where yahoo sticks them on my team.

Give us the ability to move multi-position eligible players between positions during the draft.

why is this not already a reality?

during the draft say you want to draft machado who is 3b or SS, you should be able to decide what postion you draft him as and he goes to that position spot on your roster during the draft.
